I am HUGE fan of Sidney Sheldon. When i was in high school, i only read sweet valley high, nancy drew, hardy boys and ARCHIE. But a friend of mine in college introduced me the collection of SIDNEY SHELDON. I was hesitant since i havent tried reading thick book and i thought at that time its a romance novel which im not into. The first book i read of his collection was "The Sands of Time." Unbelievable but i did finish it in one sitting. Once you started reading his collection, its like being drifted and had a feeling of being part of the story. As you go on, you will be thrilled and wonder of the outcome thus you will not put down the book until you reach the ending. At present im trying some new authors. I am currently starting a book by Camilla Morton entitled "How to Walk in High Heels." Oh i forgot to mention, i love John Grisham also.

1. Maya Angelou (for inspiration) 2. Frank McCourt (for perseverance) 3. William Shakespeare (gotta love how he was a progressive thinker/write) 4. Danielle Steele (for romance) 5. Jackie Collins (for trashy sunbathing days) 6. Walle Lamb (a man who can write like a woman) 7. Jane Austen (for the reality of injustice, pain, and social status--although in real life it does not wrap up as well as she wrote)

My favourite authors are Steven King, Dean Koontz, James Herbert, Clive Barker (sometimes) Barbara Erskine, Martina Cole(she's ace) and I know there are lots of others but I cannot think of them now, how frustrating!! Oh I know Penny Vincenzi she is also good. I like some of the new authors that are out too but the I prefer a book with a good bite in it, and some of the newer authors just do not have that good bite in.
