Do you get dreams/nightmares while you sleep?

Your neck has rotated? Do you watch scary movies before going to bed? Might be worth buying a dream book to see what it means. I have both dreams and nightmares but not very often. My dreams consist of weird activities such as a bar-b-que in someone's backyard at night. The people attending the party are from my childhood, teen years and current friends. None of them really know each other and I am always spending my time introducing them throughout the party. It's always a party dream so apparently I am partying in my sleep also. The nightmares are few and far between. It's always the same one. A monster is chasing me through the woods, I trip, fall down and wake up.

I know I dream everytime I sleep, but I seldom have nightmares. Just once (but I can't remember what was that all about) I was half-awake screaming about something but there was no sound coming out from my vocal chord. And I don't remember all my dreams, just vague recollection and can't put everything into perspective. I just have hint if it is sad or happy.
