Underneath my Skin

So on Saturday I threw up so often and hard, once again the blood vessels in my face broke. Vessels, or whatever it is that breaks and leaves my face with thousands of tiny pink spots. Underneath my eyes it looks like I have a black eye, but it is made up of purple and black spots, like the pink ones. So, that is not out of the norm, although it hasn't happened in a while. My problem is that I have a couple appointments this week, the first on Wednesday, and they are noticeable even under heavy duty makeup. Does anyone know how to get them to go away, or start to heal quicker? So far I can get my face to the point where just my eyes and above my eyebrows looks all awfully colored. The makeup doesn't fix that.

Have you tried using an ice pack, Ambie. This usually helps to lessen the inflammation underneath our eyes. You can also try mixing your foundation with a dab of moisturizer. I just heard it from somewhere that the combination of both is very effective in covering any marks. Hope you're doing well now. If both I mentioned above didn't work, you can wear a dark eyeglass. =)

Well it is over 48 hours, I would try warm moist compresses and see if that helps. It should increase circulation which will help with the absorption of the blood.

Apparently not. But it wasn't that bad. My first appointment was this morning, and I only got a few odd looks.

Oh my... you have a huge problem... have you tried putting ice on the area... that would sometimes work for me... but if it doesn't... and make up is also less help... then you might just want to consider wearing those glasses that hollywoods stars often wear... Or better yet... if you can cancel your appointment... then do so... Sorry if i cannot give a lot of help...

Did you try ice packs? Or cucumber slices laying over the darkened areas? I have heard that is suppose to work. I don't know but just a suggestion.

Well, looks like everyone had the same reply I was going to give.. I thought that at first ice and then heat just like when you have a injury from bumping into something..I will check back tomorrow, but will ask this friend of mine who knows a lot about natural healing and see what she says..

It is hard to get them to go away when you don't know what they are. You might want to try Erase to cover them.

So sorry you are having to deal with this. I wish I knew something to tell you to help speed up the healing with your skin on your face. I've never had to deal with this so, I don't know of anything right off hand.
