when I was a kid my mom said she could always tell when I was going to be sick because I would really talk up a storm and have nightmares. Now I just talk and babble. My husband woke me up last week asking me who was I talking to about the repairs that needed to be done to the house. He said I kept saying the seams need to be fixed. Too funny. I was talking to construction people, who did a lame job. My youngest also talks in her sleep, she is usually yelling at her sister. LOL Bob, hubby, talks but he is more asking for God's help because either an alien or the devil has him or someone he knows. I have to wake him up when I hear "Jesus Christ our Savior" because that means the dream has started or is about to start.

It is interesting!:) I remember that when I was a kid I stay with a best little girl freind all day long. We shared everything we have even in the dreams. So one night, When I was sleeping I suddenly shout out:"Come to eat!!!" My mother was often woke up and woke me up and asked me whom I was talking to, until them I knew I was in a dream! And sometimes I walk in my sleep at that time, going out of the door and them I woke up. But now both of them keep away from me, and I am a really light speeker. I always woke up by my roommates when I was in my college, at least 3 of them talk at late night!

I don't think I do, but I might have as a child. My husband does and it can be quite humorous sometimes. I try to remember what he was talking about and tell him in the morning. We always get a laugh out of it. My ex used to talk all the time, and I would wake up and answer him, or try to keep the conversation going. Sometimes I didn't really know what he was talking about so I had to wing it, but it was hilarious.

I have never been told that I talk in my sleep but my wife at least mumbles... English is her third language so I don't know if it is words she is saying or just making sounds. Kinds creepy if you ask me. Zelo

as far as I know I do not talk in my sleep - though there is suspicion that I sleep in my talk.... when one of the kids or husband wakes me to ask a question I generally take a few moments to make any co-herant sense as I am responding as though I am still in my dream.... I get very confused, hehe. my eldest does talk in his sleep often, usually to one of his sisters and usually he is not happy with what she is doing.

I definitely talk in my sleep. According to everyone who has witnessed me sleep talking, I am rather clear and concise with my words and I will actually talk to whoever is there and carry on a conversation with them. One time, I was at bible camp, and I was sleep talking. When I'm away from home is usually when I sleep talk the most. But there was a mentally handicapped girl there with our group and I started sleep talking and apparently I told her to "watch out for the snake under the papers on the floor. Don't worry about it. I'll take care of the snake in the morning." The girl just about had a mental breakdown and freaked out the entire house, and the housemother and all the other girls went on this wild hunt for a non-existant snake while I just snoozed away!

Yep I was a sleep talker and still do as far as I know. Just no one to tell me about it.My daughter use to talk in her sleep as well. I use to walk in my sleep too. That would always kinda freak me out when I did that. That I have not done in years though, thank goodness.

Hi! My hubby says I talk in my sleep, but he has nothing to back it up with. lol I don't believe him and told him to record us while we are sleeping and he will catch himself snoring as he don't believe he snores. lol I know I cry in my sleep. When I have those very emotional dreams. I had dreams after my aunt passed in 2005 and I woke up several days crying.

I talk in my sleep but only when I am seriously stressed out, or working too much. My first job was working as a Telemarketer for a telephone company, and after a long horrible day at work I would fall asleep and start going through calls. "Hello this is Brian and I am calling from AT&T." It was horrible. But now that I have a good job I dont do that anymore, again unless if I am seriously stressed out.

I talk in my sleep but, I tend to have night terrors so, I don't so much talk in my sleep as I am waking up and acting on a night terror. I have a really hard time explaining this to anyone who doesn't have night terrors, but, I'll give it a shot. I will "dream" (for lack of a better way to put it) that there is something in the room or in the bed. Like maybe a snake or a huge football sized spider. I will either get up and get out of bed trying to get away from it and try to talk about it. And, I say "try to talk about it" because I can't get the right words. I can't come up with the word "spider", or "bed" or "snake". It will come out something like "there is a gslkdfgl;sgkj journal lsdla;ga;dfg foot sldfjskdfjlka acorn". Most of the time, the hubby sleeps through it but, if I wake him he will just try to talk me out of it. I have my eyes open and can move like I am conscious but, only a portion of my mind is in the here and now and in the really real world. The other portion is somewhere in terror. I am very aware that this happens so, over the years, I have gotten better at getting myself out of that frame of mind. But, there are sometimes when it takes a while for me to snap myself out of it...I really have to concentrate because my mind is still in fight or flight mode and that is a very hard piece of our human nature to just brush aside. And, it isn't to be confused with sleep walking either. It is like a waking, but not quite awake, living nightmare.

My husband always tells me that I talk in my sleep LOL. He finds it funny but I can never remember doing it really. One time when I was in my teens and I was reading a Judith McNauth book, which was a romannce novel, I woke up calling out the guys name. My aunt was in the room at the time and I found out about it the next morning. How embarressing is that? LMBO!!!
