How many of you like Pizza Hut pizza? Which is your favorite type of pizza? Have any of you worked at Pizza Hut before? I must say I like their BBQ Chicken pizza best. I also must say that I have worked there before and it was a nightmare. No joke. I was told that I was getting hired in for a cooking job, not something I really wanted to do in the first place, but I need the money and I was only 17. As soon as I started working there they put me on phones for like 4 weeks straight. Something that everyone has to learn to do, work the phones and be able to answer them and take the order correctly. I hated answering the phones because they wouldnt let me do anything else. Always told me that I was not needed anywhere else and they always would schedule me to work the hours that were super busy when it came to the phones. After that the put me on dishes, salad bar and phones. Yippy, I got to take a bunch of old smelly dishes and put them in this big washer thing. Plus got to run out into the eating area and refill the salad bar and make sure it was spotless and answer phones. That is when my hours got cut. I only got to work the days that they had the salad bar open and only got to work the hours the salad bar was open. I was only getting about 5-8 hours of work a week. That wasnt even paying for my gas to get to and from work!

I use to be stuck on Pizza Hut's deep dish with sausage, pepperoni and black olives. Now, I'm stuck on Papa John's with just sausage and pepperoni. I like PJ's now cause they give you the garlic butter stuff to dip the crust in and the crust comes pretty thick already so you're not paying for the extra. Pizza Hut still isn't bad though. It does sound like a ridiculous place to work though I'll give you that much.

It is not a job that I'd ever want my kids to have thats for sure. So keep that in mind for when ya have kids and they get old enough to work, Pizza Hut is not the place to go. No wonder the lady told me that most of the kitchen staff only stayed working there for 3 months tops and hoped that I wouldnt be like that. HELLO...I now see why they all left too. They treat you like crap, give you no hours, plus they smoke near your food!

I must say the pizza there is the BEST!!!! I love the supreme with olives, my husband loves the meat lovers. I have yet to try the stuffed crust...is it any good??? I have never worked there myself, but have a few friends that did and said that it was brutal! So I guess your opinion is shared with others!

Well I have been to Pizza Hut only once coz frankly speaking I find them way tooooooooooo expensive for my hard-earned money. Pizza Hut is OK for me only if somebody is treating me or its an occasion for special celebration. Well my son was nagging for quite long and we had gone shopping that side and had extra cash so I thought why not? My hubby ordered some wrap or something which came with a tiny bowl of salad and dip, my son ordered the BBQ chicken and I had something like Mexican flavoured one (with pineapples I think). Don’t remember exactly coz it was way back in October last year. We had a big tumbler of soft drinks with that. Well, the small pizza with the toppings were OK for my son and me, but the wrap was not even snacks for my hubby (and we were supposed to be having dinner!) and the bill for Rs. 400+ (more than $100) was not value for money. I know these international food chains charge exorbitantly, but somehow I found Mc.Donald’s more value for money.

That does not shock me one little bit! they are WAY overpriced. I dont see why people go there to get pizza. Its just as cheap to go to a store and buy a frozen one or make one yourself.

I love their pizza but it is very very over priced. On my daughters birthday we got pizza there...3 large pizzas cost me nearly 50.00 and that is not including the tip. I did have coupons but they would not accept them as I paid with a debit card....i will never order from there again. the other places are very good also and pizza hut just is not worth the extra cost. As far as working for them...sounds like a nitemare job. I hope you have moved out and up.

They are extreamly over priced. That is why I would get so mad that we would barely make min. wage and they were charging people a ton for a pizza. I think the last time we ordered pizza there it was about 60 dollars. We always have to get at least 3 pizzas cinna stix and stuff b/c we only order it when we have family over.

I never worked at Pizza Hut, but I worked at a pizza place called "The Great Alaska Pizza Company." And even though our uniforms were kind of cute, I hated the job. It wasn't bad at first. I was the best cashier there, but I'm kind of girly, and I'm not very strong. I was seventeen at the time, and they required at closing, that we put all of the chairs on top of the tables (which were tiny by the way, maybe 2.5' by 2.5' each. Fitting four chairs on top was hard!) and I had a hard time picking them up and flipping them upside down and setting them back ont he table very quickly. The manager got mad at me, because I wasn't as quick as she would have liked (I had asked her for a different task but she insisted I do that one) and she got mad, told me to clock out and go home. I was fired. But I didn't care. I still can't stand pizza to this day. There's only so many free pizzas you can eat until you grow to despise pizza.

I think all food places are like that though. They want you to work your butt off and get paid hardly nothing. If you couldnt do the chairs she should of had someone else do it. That or I'd of told her to do it herself. lol

I worked at pizza hut 1 day when I was a kid. I did not like how dirty it was in the back and how some people would smoke in the back around the food, YUCK! However I do like some of their pizza and I love their breadsticks.

I thought it was just our pizza hut that they allowed people to smoke in the back where the food was being made. Ours wasnt really dirty, but you had to watch your step b/c sometimes you'd about slip and fall b/c someone would drop pizza sauce or something and not clean it up. Pizza sauce, shoes, and hard tile floor do not mix.

Well, they offer different types of pizzas in different places, so the kind you like the best is not offered where I am. My favorite is the pepperoni stuffed crust. I rarely order from Pizza Hut because I try to save money, but I like them the best probably. Mazzio's charges more for their delivery fee than Pizza Hut. And I'm not a Domino's fan.

I never worked there...thankfully :) I used to like Pizza Hut a lot. We'd all hang out there in high school. Years later, my husband and I would go about once a month during their pizza/salad lunch buffet...yummy. I rarely eat pizza anymore and when I do it's homemade.

Man, when I worked there they had the pizza/salad lunch buffet every Tuesday. Plus the salad bar was open every day, but they never gave me any hours.

I like Pizza Hut. I prefer the thick crusts. I also like Italian sausage topping but can eat just about any. For some reason I like their pizzas best along with Dominos. Most of the others I haven't been that impressed with.
