I have never noticed this. I guess if one wanted to post a really long heading it would be nice to be able to. But I have never had a problem with it. So I guess it is fine the way it is for me.

Yes of course I am aware of it. What one can do is to first Give the Discussion topic a main heading and type that heading in first line. Further in the window below the discussion topic, there is another window in which one can type little elaborately of what one wants to say.

I have noticed this also. I didn't realise it at first and I just typed away. I sent the discussion out and it was cut off short because it would not accept the rest of the letters. I think it could be more letters for us and room to type them. I always make sure now when I type and if I run out of room, then I take some words out and rearrange the heading to make it fit.

That's why it is called a header, my friend. You are supposed to make it short and catchy so that it will attract people to read the body of your post. If you reveal too much in the header, chances are people would already guess what it is and might not even want to look at the whole discussion.

Yeah!!! i also noticed that thing, and its good that our discussion title length is limited to some extent. I think that if our title is more lengthy than nobody will read your discussion, all just look at discussion and start responding...
Cheers and keep posting!!!
