I've heard about these data entry jobs where you can work from home but everytime I come across one, they want me to pay them money. If you know where I can find a work from home job without having to pay any money please let me know.

Everything you could do from home requires some investment. Just don't send the $ to others without receiving goods. First build a STRONG home office. A PC, printer, phone, organized desk and filing cabinet. Write down a list of skills you can offer people. Personal secretary? Offer people you know to make phone calls for $1o/hour - (as long as u have free or cheap long distance) I used to work in a biz that sold home heating products and water heaters. I'd get calls from property managers all the time who complain they were on the phone w/ the water heater co. for hours on hold waiting to speak w/ a tech support agent. If you're good at taking notes and stuff, that might be something you could start from home. I'm sure there are folks out there who would pay someone $ to make their appointments for them, cancel appointments, make arrangements etc. Start w/ friends/family then once u have enough $ you can get a trade name & go public. Or if that's not your cup of tea, you could do e-bay, or all kinds of stuff as long as you apply yourself to what you're doing. As others say,if ya devote a lot of time here you could build up a halfway decent payout. (Maybe enough to pay the internet or phone bill! )

Oh, in that case have you checked out www.ratracerebellion.com ? That's where I found MyLot. I was looking for side $ not full time employment. (it's too noisy in my house for me to do a call center, but someday) Ratracerebellion has several job leads for actual employer-employee jobs as well as stuff for independent contractors. Hope that's helpful. good luck!

You might want to look into a company called west from home. I used to work in one of their call centers when i lived in Texas, but they do have people who work online from home as well. Basically you would be taking calls from people who are placing orders for things that are sold on infomercials on TV. They pay you per min .17-.30 so you would make somewhere between 10-18 per hour that you are speaking with a customer. There are about 6000 people who work from home for them. I am not sure what country you live in, but i believe that they accept people from all over the world. And of course it does not cost you anything. You just have to have a computer with highspeed internet, and a phone.

Have you tried sologig.com? I know they have a lot of listings and I don't think you have to pay for that site. There is another site that I have seen listings for, homejobstop.com, but I think you have to pay a one-time fee to see their listings. I found a lot of things on there, but since most of them were looking for people who lived in certain areas, I wasn't able to find anything. I do check there periodically so that when my contract in China ends, I will be able to find work. I don't know that those would help, but those are the ones I know about. Good luck!!!

ah, don't you ever give money for the job. I'm on the hunt of it too. you can try this http://www.getafreelancer.com/ On this site you will find a variety of freelance postings. It's not easy but if you have skills, it worth to try. Be careful, there are possibility that some offers appear to be a scam. but most of them are legitimate.
