Remember all those musical TV commercials from childhood?

I remember all those commercials from childhood that had tunes and songs in them, by far the most, don't you? Whether they were totally boring or fun, I still remember many of them a couple decades later. What are some of the ones that you remember? Here are 2 that popped into my head at the moment. I know lots more though. - "1-800-USA-LOAN, 1-800-USA-LOAN. If you had a phone, and you need a loan, Call 1-800-USA-LOAN..." - "Mc-D-O-N-A-L-DS, Mc-D-O-N-A-L-DS. The good time- Great taste- At McDonalds!" p.s. Sorry I can't sing these out loud so you can really hear them. p.p.s. You good friends, so sorry, but today and yesterday replying to a number of your discussions, the darn MyLot wouldn't for some reason let me post, and kept erasing my replies (that had no weird punctuations or any bad words in it, and it was some flaw). And I started copying them befor eI posted replies, but even if I tried reposting, since I don't have 500 credits, it won't let me copy/paste! Argh!

I liked the one for Alka Seltzer; Plop plop, fiz fiz, oh what a relief it is. Then there was a song, I think the name was No Matter What Shape, that focused on the bellies of people walking down the street. That one might have been for alka selter too, I'm not sure.

Heya again, Miss Alka seltzer ;o) Yes, I remember that one, of course. It's funny- I haven't checked this posting in some time, but today in the car, I kept (mentally inside my head, not out loud so everyone could hear, hee hee), this song that was for Valveeta (sp?) cheese. It was a humorously pretty song, but it was mean to the other brand competitor. It went something like, "It's Velveeta, Versus Cheddar, But Velveeta, Tastes much better! Cheddar's lumpy, Cheddar's oily, And it dribbles off your plate onto your doily!..."

Ha ha! Thanks for sending the site. That makes us all feel like normal people. I mean the singers look like us, not all TV'ed up people who've rehearsed. :o)

Ha ha, thanks for teh "smile"! A lot of teh old ones, i think they should bring back. Another one that I (hee hee) love that I have seen during morning news (only time I watch any TV) is one on dentures, and it is so awesome! They have all elderly people singing about it, and they are just so perfect! I don't remember the name, but I'd praise them if I knew the company contact info. ;o)

Lets see how about... "I wish I were an Oscar Mayer wiener. Because if I was a oscar Mayer wiener everyone would be in love with me." I know there's another one about oscar mayer bologna, but I can't remember how it goes.
