Any MegaMan fans here? What is your favorite MM game?

My favorite is MegaMan 2. I really liked all the enemy bosses in this one. Bubbleman, Airman, Quickman, Heatman, Woodman, Metalman, Flashman and Crashman. I can still remember the first time I beat the game. Running the gauntlet through Dr. Wily's castle without the benefit of saving or passwords was tough. Ah the memories. What is your favorite MegaMan game in the series? What's your least favorite? Mine would have to be MegaMan64. Do you have a favorite character?

Your specifically about the MegaMan series? I have played it before and I do recognize the hard core efforts it use to need during those earlier games. No saves and you just have to make a good run of the game so that you'd get a pretty password for it. I particularly like Megaman 8 which I played on the PSX. My brother on the other hand prefers the MegamanX series and also on the Handheld, Gameboy Advance which is Megaman Zero.

Mega Man 8 is included on the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. That is a really good game. Not as challenging as the earlier Mega Man games, but still really good.

I just very much appreciate the improvement when it comes to animation of the game compared to its predecessors Indeed, it is not as challenging as the earlier ones before it

It has been interesting for someone who has followed the MegaMan series from the beginning to watch MegaMan's evolution in terms of graphics. Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, or perhaps because I have spent much more time with the NES games, but I am still partial to the 8-bit megaman.

Believe it or not, I had never played a Mega Man game until 2005, when I got Mega Man Anniversary Collection for Gamecube. $30 well spent, wouldn't ya say? Oh man, that Rock Monster in the first Wily stage of Mega Man 1 was tough! It took me awhile to get the pattern down.

Yes, the anniversary collection is a good deal. There was a neat trick for killing the rock monster easily. Make a well placed shot to his eye and continuously press pause on and off as you hit him and you will connect multiple times with one shot. A few times like that and he is finished.

MegaMan 5 (RockMan 5 in Japan) had the robot bosses: Gravity Man, Wave Man, Stone Man, Gyro Man, Star Man, Charge Man = TrainMan?, Napalm Man and Crystal Man. The memories are often times the best part of the experience.

My favorite would have to be Megaman 2. Other goodies I like include Megaman (3,4,5,6,7), Rockman and Forte (Megaman & Bass), Megaman X (1, 2, 3 and 4), Megaman Power Fighters: 2. My least favorites. Megaman X (5,6 and 7)

My top 5 favorite MegaMan games are: 1) MegaMan2 2) MegaMan 3) MegaMan 3 4) MegaMan 4 5) MegaMan X Did you ever play the first MegaMan. It was a harder NES cartridge to find after the initial release.

I don't really have a favorite. They're all good. I think Mega Man 64 gets unfairly criticized because it's non-traditioal Mega Man. I haven't played some of the newer ones on DS and I haven't played all the ones on GBA. I've played a little bit of Mega Man Zero 4. I have the Mega Man Anniversary and X collections on Gamecube. (Great values, by the way.) Recently, I've been playing Mega Man IV for Game Boy and it's gotten me in a Mega Man fix. It's too bad Capcom won't release all the Gameboy Mega Man games on a compilation cartridge for DS.

Mega Man Anniversary Collection was supposed to come out for the GBA as it's listed on gamefaqs.com. Obviously, that won't happen with DS replacing the GBA. Unfortunately, it seems like a compilation of the original Game Boy Mega Man games won't appear on any console or handheld anytime soon.

This is unfortunate. People will have to make do with trying to find individual copies of the games cheap. Eventually Capcom will come around. I'm sure people with a flash cartridge don't have this problem. ;)

It would definately be sweet if Capcom released a GameBoy MegaMan compiation for DS. Someone should get a petition going. LOL

Yeah, protoman is a great character. I played MegaMan 2 first even before I finally got my hands on MegaMan 1. MegaMan three is a classic and would be a great introduction to the series for anyone. Your sentiments about the MegaMan RPGs are shared by many MegaMan fans that I have talked to.

If it's the classics, mine would be Megaman 7.... Up+select!!!!!!!!! O_O If it's the X series, definitely Megaman X 4. X was a god with his last armor, Zero is my move maker or in other terms, he has awesome moves. Well, I've almost played every Megaman up to date but from everything? It's still Megaman X 4.
