Do you ever feel guilty for doing personal things on work time? I am constantly on the internet for personal things--MYLOT!! but I don't really feel guilty because I only get on when there is absolutely nothing for me to do. Also, EVERYONE does it (not that this should be a reason).

I have my own home based business. So, I decide when I want to work on my business and when I want to do other things. The problem is that I get distracted from my business and end up doing other things - like the laundry or getting on myLot or scrapbooking or reading or whatever it is. So, I am getting better at setting up specific times that I work on my business.

What type of business do you have?

I help people promote their business or services online through video and earn additional income as well. I have been doing it for 2 1/2 years and really enjoy it. Thanks for asking!

I don't feel guilty for doing personal things on work time because I don't do them. It seems like if I'm at work, even if I have things that I need to get done, they'll have to wait. Simply because while I'm at work, being paid for time working, I should be working. Plus, I work at a busy call center, so even if I wanted to do something else I wouldn't really be able to. (the computers we use don't have internet access, games, or any other distractions, so it's not like I could just play either.)

I would occasionally use the computer at my last job, but usually only on breaks. I tended to stay busy on any job that I had. When I had nothing to do, I would usually do something like stamp the address on labels. It kept me out of trouble.
