Does your daughter miss you as much as you miss her?

My daughter moved 2 states away in December, I tried all I could do not to interfere with her new life so I didn't call that much and waited for her to call. One day she called in tears saying she hadnt talked to me for a whole week and she was very upset. She explained it wasnt that she needed to cut the apron strings or was a momma's girl, but she misses her best friend. I cried and was happy at the same time to know she felt the same as I do, we talk every morning now, right after I get off the phone w/ my mom. I was wondering if it was just my family that did this or are there other grown mothers and daughters that do the same?

I have two daughters and we do miss each other very much. Neither on of them lives around her so it's IMing and emailing and phoning....One day just a week ago I got a message on my answering machine and it was my youngest daughter on her way to work crying and saying I miss you mom! She is 35! I had baked the night before and used some new muffing tins she gave me for Christmas so I emailed her and said everytime I make muffins I think of you...It's snowing....I'm making muffins....I'm thinking of you. She said it made her cry! It's so special that you miss one another! That is a wonderful relationship!

My daughter is four years old. So she still ives with me. But My mother lives 1300 miles away from where I live. We are on the phone to each other CONSTANTLY. Daily, 3-4 times at least. I cannot imagine going a week without speaking to her, or web camming with her. It is how we keep in touch. It is how she bounds with her grand daughter. Do you remember the movie Terms of Endearment? Well that IS US!

I live 4 miles away from my mom and I call her a few times a week. I think lots of mothers and daughters do that. I moved 2 states away a few years ago and ended up coming back. I missed my family and I missed the area I grew up in.

I think your right, most mom's and daughters must have that special kind of bond
