mostly my stress comes from work. Because our head office is in a different time zone, the bosses would usually tell us that there is something we have to do during the time that we are already supposed to go home. It's very irritating because sometimes, I still have plans after work! then i have to work fast but still make sure the it's of the best quality. Then when I submit it, sometimes, there would still be revisions. I so hate it when that happens. Or sometimes, even if I am at home already, the bosses will still call me and have to do something. But I know that it's part of the job and partly why they have high compensation.. just have to learn to live with it and adjust to it. To cope with that, I anticipate everything and keep myself free so that I won't be surprised when they would suddenly call and ask me to do something.

Eh, stress, my horrible lot in life and the one thing that always puts a damper on it. I suffer from Generalized Anxiety and Panic disorder, as well as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and these passed few weeks they have been driving me crazy. You see, my mother went in for heart surgery and was let out of the hospital, only to go back in a week later, which was this passed week. They told us that she has kidney and liver damage due to her diabeties. I was already having problems with my anxiety but since this stress began, all three of my disorders have been going crazy on me and I can't seem to get things back to normal. I litterally feel like crap everyday. So, I guess you can say I'm awful with dealing with stress. When I have one of my major panic attacks, it's completely awful and I feel frightened and scared. It's something I wouldn't wish on anyone, not even my worst enemy...

My way of dealing with stress is to go for a long hike in the countryside to breathe in the fresh air and to totally clear my mind, it works wonders, just to appreciate nature in her finest, it's all other problems into perspective. Exercise releases serotonin good for the brain and it helps to reduce stress greatly. Taking out your frustration and worries in having a good run on the treadmill, go for a bike ride, swimming or pumping iron works wonders and it's a great stress release for me.

Hello dear julyteen. My greatest stress comes from my work. And the work stress comes from the administrators, who are always trying to put pressure on us to make us unhappy. . I dislike those adminstrators sitting there thinking of ways that are not popular with us staff because they know more of dogmatism...

I think these days people are more stressed as they have more on their plate to deal with. For example women these days are often trying to do too many things at once: be a good mother, have a clean house, be good partner/wife, go to work and at the same time try and have some time out for yourself. Most of my stress comes from when I have too many things to do. i.e - cleaning, looking after kids, cooking, etc. Money is another big factor that often stresses me alot lately as I am not working at moment, funds are limited living on only one income instead of two. Too many bills and loans, and credit cards to pay on just one income.

Its funny you mention this as I was talking about this with my mother earlier. She said back in the old days people were more laid back. Now everyone is stressed, everyone is rushing around and nervous. Is it because of so much more news circulating about different stressful issues? The internet? Its a good question. Why is there more stress nowadays? Because of economy and now its required for both parents to bring in an income instead of the mother being the homemaker and the father being the breadwinner? Everyone needs a little stress in their lives for motivational reasons more than anything but, too much stress is bad and can cause health problems, insomnia, depression, you name it like it has done to me.

it is because of our so called information technology whee everything is moving in a fast pace where everything needs to be done right away. There are a lot of information that has to be learned and it ha to come to us like lightning. everyone is in a hurry tying to do a lot of things beyond their control. with all of these things going on with our lives it it the best time for us to know how to manage our time. it is all about time management and if you do not know how to use it then you get stressed out.Time management teaches us to prioritize and weed out things we do not need in our lives.it should actually make us more productive and have control in this crazy world. now, it is your time to take things easy.

work pressure and deadlines are the only reason for stress for me. I relax by listening to music, talking to friends, painting or just lie down for a while

I just had the similar discussion with my friends about the stress yesterday. For me stress is something terrible. I lived in stress for about one year and it caused me 60 extra pounds. I didn't even noticed how I managed to gain so much fat in a year.

My stress comes from the worry of not having enough money, and for the worry of what my family goes through. For example my mother needs to have major knee surgery on her left knee and she won't get it until the end of the year, but the worst part is that it is a risk surgery, so if it goes wrong I'd lose her and I don't want to think of that. Money, is the big stresser, because my husband only works 19 hours a week and it's not a lot of money. So that stresses me. Now to deal with it. I listen to music or watch a dvd that I enjoy and just let the stress go. Music helps relive the stress.

Hello, july!the present day life style is the cause of stress/depression. somehow or other most of the people in the urban areas of the world is a victim of this.to get rid of this you just vent your feelings and emotions to people close to you.verbalize your problems and find solutions.the more you bottle up,the more you will find it difficult to find hopes.avoid polarising your thoughts.have good diet.during stress,we normally lose our appetite, but don't skip meals.have plenty of fluids.when you are tensed certain hormones work over time.to balance that have proper diet.carbo-rich diet is suggested as eating carbohydratesboosts your levels of feel good brain chemicals.another important nutrient you need to fight stress is vitamin B6,found in meat, liver, whole grains, and vegetables like potatoes.besides all these you have to meditate atleast for twenty minutes.this will relieve you a lot.but at any cost you must keep yourself away freome smoking and drinking.thank you.

My Stress is from Uncertainity and not achieving what I should when I compare others. My stress remains when somebody in family is unhappy for their own reasons or because of me. if it is because of me then i find chance to improve and make my mind happy. However, worst stress is created by job deadlines as this is where u feel the pinch of Managers shouts
