I hate that I carry stress around in my body, It goes straight to the shoulders and sometimes becomes so hard to work out. This happens when I get upset about something and just cant quit pondering about something in my life. Where do you carry your stress?

I've been under a lot of stress this past year and have found I carry from head to toe - I think the most obvious is this darn twitch I get in my right eye, it's going crazy the last few days and drives me crazy. Shoulders, neck, back, arms and legs - even my fingers tense up when I'm under stress and I end up with horrid headaches... Still what bugs me most is this eye - there seems to be nothing I can do about it.

Oh that would be so nice - all the other crazy laws they get into the government maybe we should work on that "Mother's Day Out Law" or "Mom's Weekly Spa Visit Law" :)

I carry stress around with me every day of my life and I know it is truly killing me but there is nothing I can do to change it. I am trying very hard though. I carry alot of my stress in my head, shoulders and my belly area. It makes me feel so miserable and tense all of the time.

yes I know what the miserable thing is about! What really makes mine start s when I get stuck on a thought or a certain situation, and then its just like the bodys natural way of responding. I take a llllot of hott showers and baths~!

You take after your mom there, because that's where my stress tends to go mostly to my neck and shoulders. I hope that I was able to work it out of your neck and shoulders some this morning, and that the hot rub that I put on it helped too!

Amount of Stress you get are getting at work depends on how you approach the solution to your problems occur in the Job... If you have a personal problem and coming to work, for exmple your mother is sick and need you there. You cannot concentrate on work..... In first year of my first job, i had a lot of stress and couldn't sleep at night.... then i realised work is work & life is life... so i'm not getting stress on work and do my best at the given timelines and forget about work after going home.... Try to finish your job in given time and if you have igh work load best thing is to speak to your immediate boss and try to get some delegated to your colleagues....

i try hard to let my stress go. A year ago it made me very ill and I had to quit work. But I learnt some great relaxation techniques and now the only time that I feel any real physical stress symptoms is when I have been driving long distance. My favourite is deep breathing. Sit comfortably, inhale deeply and whilst you are doing say "one thousand" in your head. Hold for a couple of seconds and then exhale "saying one thousand five hundred". Repeat. Fantastic.
