Which movie franchise you like better- 'Saw'or 'Hostel' ?

Which movie series you like better: 'Saw' or 'Hostel' Series. Both have taken gore to a new high. Both have led to a series of similar flicks showing the same gore horror tactic. So which one you like better ?

It's the attitude of the films that's been putting me off. "Here are some really sick b******s. Aren't they cool?". Definitely, not all sequels are bad, and some are often better than the original. There's a tendency in the splatter gore films to just up the body count and gore though. Take Final Destination 2. There, it seemed to be, lets kill every one really messily, same with the third in the series. And with Jeepers Creeper 2, lets kill of a whole bus load of people.
I quite liked Saw and Hostel, but film makers have a tendency to push things too far.

I do not like any of the SAW movies, I liked the first Hostel, but the second Hostel wasn't "fun" and went more serious almost as if Roth was affected by his critics the first time around..so I guess I pick Hostel just because the first one was kind of fun.

Both of these movies were honestly just disturbing. I dont know why i watched so many of the saw movies but i only missed the 3; as for hostel i only saw the first. From what i can tell saw seems to win out over hostel only becasue i actually followed what little of a story line there was to it.

With a doubt its SAW. Saw shows you more of the plot/the gadgets than hostel does. I do like both films though
