Nigerian deportation - so sad

I live in Ireland and in 2004 a woman from Nigeria fled after her daughter and been genitally mutilated (female circumsition) i think her daughter may have bled to death. Anyways she has been fighting to stay here because if she goes back the exact same thing is going to happen to her 5 yr old and 7 yr old daughters. She has lost her case and faces deportation today. The only thing that can save her is if one of our ministers puts a protection order on her and her family which doesnt look like its going to happen as the minister in question is on holiday!! I feel so sad for this family - and I dont understand why she is being deported. We keep people here from other countries for less important reasons. Even if they kept her children here.
