How has myLot been a comfort to you?

Interaction with others is very healthy,I enjoy sharing and I must say learning,I certainly feel I receive more then I give,so yes I am with you,thanks mylot Friends.

I would not say that it has been a comfort to me, but I have found that joining in discussions I have discovered a lot more about myself since joining here, I think I am discovering that there is a lot more to me than I thought. I have found that I am discovering a lot of memories that I had forgotten I had, some of them bad and some good. It is good that you felt comforted by being on here when all that bad weather was with you, I hope your weather is better now. My daughter has the name of where you live!

Mylot people are a good bunch of people and go out of their way to help you when you say you have a problem. I have posted a few times when I have had situations and came here and put them up in a discussion. The people have given some very sound advice and were very compassionate. So mylot has been a comfort to me and the advice given is always given in a nice way.

Mylot has been great for me. I have made so many friends here, and I know whenever I am down i can log on, and some of my great friends here will have me feeling better in no time. mylot means a lot to me. I have made friends with so many great people that I would not have had the opportunity to meet had I not been on this site.

We are comforting? "Does not compute" Okay okay... You're always welcome if you need that support. I keep saying that despite all the debates, the discussions, the opinions, there are people on the other end and they have no problem showing support to others. I've seen it in a couple of discussions I've had. I've extended it to other members numerous times.

Im a new member of Mylot...I find the threads enjoyable. Its an insight into what keeps us ticking!! Plus I enjoy responding!!

i like to read everyone's comments etc, and this place relaxes me and clears my head

I think Mylot has provided me comfort many times. it is a great friend when i am in trouble. i have posted my problems here to gt effective solutions. it keeps me busy when i am bored.I share my happiness and sadness here. its a nice place o be.

Wow—that is great… I love online forums for that reason. You know we may never meet our online friends—but they bring us such comfort in so many ways. I know a lot of people use them as a way of just having adult interaction. Some others use them to have any interaction with the outside world. I use them to chit chat- learn new things – and keep up to date. I know I have asked for help on issues I’m facing--- ie. Homework issues with child- attitude issues, etc. Mylot has been great in giving me different perspectives on any issue I am having. I go to a couple other forums as well--- I love them all.. I have made a lot of friends through the internet.

Mylot of course make me feel relaxed.It's been an year since I belong to this great forum and never have I felt bored or dejected.

When the stress of a long day has gotten me down; I wait until everyone is in bed. Then I come over to mylot and read and comment to discussions. It helps me wind down before I go to sleep. I am glad to hear the site helped keep you calm under stressful circumstances. It is a nice tool to use to keep your mind off of things.

WARNING!!! Tornadoes occur during violent ELECTRICAL storms, LIGHTNING is NOT your FRIEND!!! Get off the Computer, Telephone, and turn off T.V. or Stereo during an Electrical Storm. You can get FRENCH FRIED very easily! If you need a device turned on for weather and evac. info. turn on a battery powered small radio. Close any open windows - lightning will often come through an open window. Unfortunately it doesn't exit in as civilized a manner. I live in Greater Phoenix, Arizona. We are Second only to Central Florida for Lightning, particularly ground strikes. We lose people every year, and each storm generally sets three to five homes on fire from strikes. It takes 25,000 volts to arc across 1/4" A bolt of lightning, cloud to ground, is typically 2000 to 5000 feet long lets see, 25,000 X 4 X 12 X 2000 that equals a voltage of 2,400,000,000 2.4 Billion volts, and carrying up to 1,500 amperes. Nope...lightning is definitely NOT your friend.

yes i'm comforted in mylot getting my questions answered.while the world is spinning around me i am responding to other peoples problems and making money.

when i first came to mylot, i was like "what should i write?" or "how do i start?" then as days had passed, i was able to open up discussions and felt happy with those people who gave their effort to respond to my posts... it makes me happy and i felt more comfortable with this site because i get good responses on most of it and all of them gave mature advices... i am very much happy for joining this site because not only the money i earn but for those people who tries to show they care to what you have to say.. i have no any regrets with joining this site because the more i have become active with this..

I find Mylot comforting, especially when I'm home with my family over the holidays. Mylot helps me stay sane when I'm overwelmed with family obligation and roles. Mylot is a save haven during those times!

tornadoes sounds really scary. We used tohave them in our state and there was one place called tornado alley. but here in california they are rare. My lot has been a blessing to me when I have felt ill and I just kept on reading discussions and putting in my two cents worth. Also Mylot has been a comfort to me in my retirement as it has kept me active and alert mentally by posting discussions and responding to others. it has given me something to look forward to each day;
