Is there a way to get a bank account without them running a credit check?

I am wondering if there is a way to get a bank account online without them having to run a credit check on you. I need to attach one to my revolution money exchange account (if you want to know more about RME, check out my blog from my profile page)
I don't want my credit being run as we are trying to buy a house, and I know that brings down your credit score. I don't want one here, as I don't like any of the banks here, I don't like banks, just need away to remove my money from that account so I can have access to it.

Wow, that's a good question. I think they all do now, though.
I had to apply for a bank account recently for a debit card attached to something online and they did run a check there too. Even came back and told me I needed to provide more information, copy of my driver's license, etc (my name had changed recently).
Both local bank accounts that I opened in the last 6 months required a credit check too.
Unfortunately, I think you may be out of luck.

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to ask my daughter's boyfriend because that is asking for trouble. lol

When I opened my checking account to receive my SS There was no credit check. i did deposit some cash at the time. I have also opened a saving account with a credit union with some cash and they didn't do a credit check. My granddaughter that has the very same name has also opened a saving account at the same credit union with no credit check. Sorry I just reread your posting. I don't know about opening bank account on the internet.
