Here we have two kinds of trash cans in the streets. One is green and the other is yellow. The green one is for the trash which can be recycled, such as paper, plastic bottle and so on. The yellow one is for the trash that can't be recycled. I will pay attention to it and won't make a mistake to throw my trash. At least I want to do something good for our environment.

that trash cans are common in business center such as mall.while in some small town, not only people pay less attention to it,but also government doesn't do much effort to build such rubbish recycle system. hi youless, which city are you in? tell me the situation you face in your city.

We have a recycling lorry that comes round once a fortnight which takes away our cardboard, plastic and tins and bottles to be recycled so they have to be all sorted out separately and normal waste is taken away weekly by the dustmen. We are strongly encouraged to recycle as much as possible so there is less household waste to be disposed off. Garbage bins on the street have no such rules and people can put anything into them, which is a shame because bottles and cans are thrown into them when they could be easily recycled.

hi wolfie, china hasn't do as much as your country does.we set different kinds of garbiage bins to encourage people to throw rubbish separately on the street.while there's no household garbage collection system to deal with daily waste in china. it's still a serious problem.

In the part of the Uk that I live, we have fortnightly collections, we have 5 different bins that we have to put our rubbish in. one for household waste, one for food and cardboard waste, one for recyclables, one for papers, catalogues etc and one for clothing! It was a nightmare when we first started having to do this, remembering which rubbish was for which bin, but now we have become used to it, it is not so bad. One week we have to put the household rubbish out and then the next week all the others go out. Where we live there are just ordinary bins on the streets and no special bins to put different rubbish in.
