Drink lots and lots of water. Drink water all day long. I used to suffer from acne when I was a teenager. One day I was so sick and tired of it that I forced myself to drink 2 litres of water every day. After just a couple of weeks doing this my skin was clear. Also, as a spot treatment you can put lemon juice on pimples, however don't do this too often as it can dry out your skin. Never ever pick your pimples as this will make them leave behind a scar.

There is actually nothing that proves that an oily diet causes you to break out, so dont wory about that. This actually depends on the type of skin that you have. Some people thing just because you say you have a pimple that you have oily skin, and this is not always true. I woke up the other day with a pimple and I have dry skin. I like to use Mary Kay's skin care line it zaps pimples fast. And I almost never get a pimple anymore, since I started using it. Also try to relax stress can actually cause you to break out. Hope this helps.

Dear Murkywaters, You have to keep your face clean at all times. It'll help to keep the acne / pimples at bay. You have to drink lots of water to compensate the oil production. Cleanse your face with a cotton swab dipped in Tonic or astringent according to the severity of the oiliness of your skin. Do it in the morning and also at night before you go to bed. Wash your face with a face wash and not with soap. Use a scrub regularly atleast once a week and you can see the results for yourself. To clear the blemishes, you can place potato slices on to your face and remove them after 10-15 minutes. Add fruits and vegetables to your diet. Avoid fried foods and aerated drinks. These will help you to control the oil secretion of the skin. All the best
