i was editing my profile and surprised to find that two of my interest rankings have been in the front among many members. 
i'm in fruit and canada leaderboard,which i never noticed before.
i can see my name and avatar on the interest page below.it's really a strange feeling as well as a little complacent.
what about you? have you been in leaderboard yet,which interest are you in? or what distance do you have to reach it? expected to hear from you.

i guess you are in the leaderboards of many interests since your reputation is 97 out of 100 now.but what is 'Big Brother'?i've never heard of it before.

Big Brother is a reality show on CBS where a group of people live in a house together for 3 months. They can't leave the house unless they are evicted but, their goal is to stay in the house until the final 2 people are left in order to have a chance at winning $250 thousand for the first prize and $50 thousand for the second prize. They have to compete in competitions each week to win what they call the Head of Household. That person gets immunity for the week meaning that they will not be able to be evicted. And, as an extra bonus, they get to pick 2 people to nominate for eviction and then the rest of the house guests get to vote at the end of the week on who they want to evict.
There are 2 other competitions they do throughout the week.
I love that show. It is off until July 13th when the new season begins and, I am looking forward to it!

To tell you the truth I have never looked! I see other people talking about it and saying where they are on the boards, and I always think I will have a look one day, but then I just forget about it. But well done for being in front on two your interests!

have you taken a look at it so far? if you are ranked in the top 10 of your interestes,then you are in the leaderboard of that interest.

hi my friend,if you are ranked the first 10 of your interests,you are surely in the leaderboard of that interest.you can see your name and avatar at the bottom of the interest area.you can check it.

sometimes it becomes a motivation for me to do more activities in that interest,coz i feel excited to see myself in the leaderboard.

I love competition so the Leaderboard is an excellent idea! :) However, I don't know if I'll ever get enough time/energy to be on here as the many people who are in the lead in the different categories do. It's definitely a new goal of mine though, thanks!

Honestly, I do not know about that leader board you are talking about. I didn't even check below of what is going on in there. I just read the replies of my posting and go on posts some discussion.
By the way, what is that leader board all about? How important it is to our being here?

when you enter an interest,you'll see 10 members with their images at the bottom of the page.they are the top 10 people with highest interest levels.
it only shows you have been active in that interest---start a lot of discussions or make a lot of responses there.thus you have high interest levels.

There are actually a few that I am sure I am in the top 10 in, and last I saw, I was #1 for New York City. It is quite interesting to see my numbers continue to go down in some of the topics I am quite active in. It is also interesting to see what others there post for New discussions and posts as well. I like this New ranking system, and feel it is a Welcome challenge and addition to this site for sure.

yes it's quite interesting to see your own rank up and down in the leaderboard.i havn't participated in the interest of china for some time and i see my rank has glided down to NO.5 from NO.4.hehe,it makes kind of competitive.

I came to know one day that, i am rank one and came in leaderboard. I think also i am in reading leaderboard. I think when participate more on the specified interest, we come top and finally in leaderboard. Discussion and response. Determines it... Thanks

Making an interest, I think should automatically include you within its members who share the same interest but surprisingly, I'm not even a member, let alone be in the leaderboard of that interest that I myself started but, the one who participated in a discussion which is related to that interest became a member and also within the leaderboarde of that interest. Its under Roles that I play in life which is youngest son. Oddly enough, the one who participated is female

same here, I didn't know that I became one of the leaderboard on some of my interest till I visit my profile and my interest rankings now to respond to a related topic. The interest that I belong to a leaderboard are, anime, wendy's and sailormoon. Hmmm, these topics or interest weren't that popular and known, but still, I am quite happy that I am one of the leaderboard of these topics.
