I heard the other day on the car radio the end of a conversation between a disc-jockey and Santana on this topic,I found his suggestion for a gift idea fantastic! Will post his answer in a few days.So what do you think is the best gift from another to a woman?

I appreciate anything I get. But I like diamonds....lol..A gift of friendship and love is what everyone can use.

I don't know about other women, but I personally want a new computer. A really spiffy expensive gaming computer, that will not decide to become completely useless just because I'm using World of Warcraft and some other program at the same time. Of course, if we're talking on a budget, I could use a few anime DVDs or a new video game. Okay, I'll admit, those aren't very "feminine" presents, but I AM a woman, and that's what I would want!

I thought I wanted a laptop, but the desktops are looking more tempting to me somehow! Man, I wish I didn't have heating bills hanging over my head I couldn't pay, or I'd be all over a new computer right now, especially with those deals! Oooo, good anime recommendations too! You just know everything, don't you, pro?

I could say material things like diamonds and jewelry, flowers, a great vacation, or car... I could say romantic things, like chocolate and flowers, a night out dancing, a massage, or breakfast (or any other meal for that matter) in bed... I could say things like love, and affection, and attention, intimacy, devotion, thoughtfulness, understanding, and time... I could say any numbers of things, however, I honestly can't give you a specific answer. Each woman is different, and wants, and needs and values different things.

I would accept a 3 bedroom house in Southern Calif. as the best gift anyone could ever give me. Not counting the gift of my son from God. After having my son I (((literally))) felt that he was a gift given to me from God.

Open the door for her. Lift up toilet lid. Clean the trash bin. Wash the car. Listen to her.

Lift the toilet lid ...lol..that would drive me battie! However aowaow you got it...The best gift Santana suggested was to simply "listen" to what a woman has to say.

"First to gift her with love, then you can love her with gifts" Thanks for the pencil, God bless you and your family.

That's a good discussion. Yes, the answer would be dilute for a correct one, as so many people have different yearnings. And also if it means from a partner/spouse, or relative/friend. To me, it is often untouchable things (though maybe a note or certificate to confirm a promise or goal). But some examples: - For my birthday, as I am an animal lover, asked family to all go to the animal shelter to just spend time and pet and give love to all of the homeless animals. - If a dear loved one is overweight or unhealthy because of controllable things (like overeating, not exercising, drinking too much, etc.), a promise to (i.e.) lose -- pounds by younr next birthday (yes, I requested that for a gift from someone). :o) - A session for you to clean my computer for me extrnally and internally (I am a ditz when it comes to that process). - Enthusiasm to get me going on certain things I have wanted to get done for years! (Like a big piece of writing, composing something, getting back in shape a step toward my old happy days!). Anyway, I am not a jewelery, expensive person. So, trying to spoil me with diamonds and pearls would have no effect, except for going back to return it. :o) If you spend that much, I'd rather you donate to an animal shelter. That's what my sister did for me last year, for the Best Friends animal sanctuary.

The most romantic thing that ever happened to me was on my birthday; I was headed to class and I dropped my book in the hallway. He picked it up and gave it back. When I reached class and opened my book, there was a rose petal and a beautiful note. Somehow he had slipped it in while I wasn’t watching. I was so embarrassed I turned as red as the rose.

Any gift is nice -- it is the thought that counts. The best gifts are something someone took a long time to think about and thought it was something the person would love. As the others said, the gift of friendship and love is always great... But the best gift of all is MONEY! :P
