I saw a candy-filled dipped ice cream cone that Sandra Lee made on Food Network, and it gave me a great idea. I used to work at a frozen yogurt place, and we made our own waffle cones, so I have some experience, lol. Anyways, I'm going to make waffle cones from scratch, then dip the open ends in white chocolate, and before it hardens, decorate it with little pastel colored candy and sprinkles. Then, I'll put Robbin's Eggs [the candy, not real eggs] and pink bunny peeps in the cones. :] I'm going to surprise my family with them on Sunday. xD

Awwww that sounds so cool! Do you have the recipe for waffle cones? I love those, but I find them a little too expensive to buy. Wondering if it is cheaper to make them. Very nice and original idea you have there. I am sure your family will be surprised and love the idea. Happy Easter

Ooh, yummy. That sounds so cute too...what a nice Easter treat. I've been thinking about making something for Easter too but haven't decided. That's a great idea.

This sounds like a great dessert for Easter. I bet the kids will enjoy it. I have never seen these before. I don't want sandra Lee much. I would also like to see a photo of these if you can send us one. I am going to make a lamb cake that my grandmother used to make. I hope it turns out okay.

Oh that sounds cute! I love the waffle cones, the kind that are a little soft/chewy, not brittle. Are they hard to make? Make sure to take pictures and come back and let us know how they turned out!
