What do you like better-sleeping or eating?

I say sleeping. I just wish I could get more of it at night and therefore I wouldn't be eating or thinking about eating. I do like eating too, though. Problem is, I have a taste for things that aren't good for me. Sleeping is a good way to get away from the trouble of the real world and enter the land of dreams.

I would say sleeping as I had sleeping problem. I had hard time getting myself to fall asleep.

I think maybe its just because you have grown older and you have abit more problems to think of that makes you a little harder to get more sleep.

Same here. As I've gotten older, I think I inherited my parents' sleep schedules. It used to be that I could easily sleep for 12 hours, but by the time I turned 22,that became a thing of the past. I'm especially susceptible to caffeine, so I try to avoid soda after 4 PM.

i would have to say sleeping. its the only time of the day when i can't think of the problems i have to face, so i'm stress free. Unless i dream of my problems :(

Sleeping is a great escape, isn't it? I can barely remember my dreams. They're just a blur or something weird. Like the other night, I dreamed Obama was President. That's all I can recall. I have no idea why, as I don't follow politics.

Sleeping is pretty good. At least it is just when you are about to fall asleep or just are waking up and you feel well and are happy. but then eating is pretty nice too. At least when you do not have to think about what you can or should not eat

Yep, if you're sleeping, you don't have to worry about the calorie content of everything.

Oh I love sleeping and I love eating. I have a newborn, so sleep is a missed friend. And I too love eating things that aren't the healthiest. I'm type 2 diabetic, so I have to balance and pay attention to what I eat; but I can't cut out all sweets and carbs. I have to occasionally allow for treats, or eating right is just too depressing.

It seems to me that healthy food-carrots, celery, etc. really aren't filling and don't do enough to satisfy a person's hunger. I try to eat those things first, but if I see some cookies in front of me, I take those. Sleep is definitely elusive, isn't it? You can't get it when you want it and then you're tired when you don't want to be.

Well, i like both, but if i have to have a choice between the two, i'd say i like sleeping better. I like eating, but as a girl, eating too much will make me become fat, so in order to keep my figure, i sometimes control myself on eating, especially sweet food, such as cakes, chocolates. But sleeping is such a good thing, enough sleep can reflesh your spirit and fill your body with strength, and the most important, you can forget all your vexation while you're sleeping.

I like sweet food, chocolates and cake. A little too much, actually. That stuff is addicting and I really need to watch myself. Sleeping is great and I wish I could sleep great every night, no matter what.

If only have two answers to choice I will say eating.Eating can make you health and strong while I think sleeping is awaste of time so I only sleep for 6 or less hours one day. There is many things we should do.So I think you should change your oponion.

It's only a waste of time if you sleep 12-13 hours a night or spend all day and night in bed. Sleeping and eating are both essential parts of living, obviously. In my opinion, eight hours of sleep should be the minimum, at least for me.

I have trouble sleeping, so I like eating better. But, I have health problems and my hormones are all messed up, so I tend to gain water weight easily if I eat too much of certain foods. I would love to be able to sleep more, but I just can't.

Sleeping, sleeping, sleeping!!! there can be no better form of relaxation than sleeping. Eating your favorite can be good anti-depressant too at time, but i prefer to have my rest sleeping than eating. I love to sleep cause in there i feel wonderfully beautiful and have this control over what i can see... or at least i know that i can always wake up when things get bad in my dreams... :D Besides, eating as a hobby is a bad habit.. it can cost much too hehe.

Eating, especially eating chocolate. I'm not much for sleeping as I'm a night owl. I tend to comfort eat instead of comfort sleep, as you do.

I like both! I now that I think of it, I think I like sleeping more. I really don't get enough because of my work schedule and I eat less because I am so tired during the day and hopped up on coffee.

I prefer eating rather than sleeping. Sleeping is a passive action. Even while surfing the net, I eat and chew whatever food I manage to grab from our kitchen cabinet. I prefer eating because I am able to enjoy the taste and aroma of the food. Unlike sleeping, when we wake up from a sleep, our body are very restless and tired.

I have such trouble falling asleep. Sleeping is nice and needed as well, and there is nothing like a long restful sleep, but I prefer eating. Food is a wonderful thing and offers such variety and satisfaction! Certain foods are so delicious they fill my stomach with joy!

They tend to fill me with heartburn and/or indigestion as I almost always eat fast and too much!

i like them both equally and they're both necessary for a balanced life. but it also depends which one i've been deprived of more. if i hadn't eaten the whole day then i would wanna eat first and go to sleep later. but if i hadn't slept in 24 hours, i would hit the sack first and look for food when i wake up.

If I were to choose, it would be sleeping. I really need a good sleep especially in my line of work. I worked on graveyard shift and sleeping is a gem for me. I like eating as well, but I am not a picky eater. I can anything that is left on the fridge. Like day old pizza or I can just open up a canned tuna or just cook instant noodles.
