I'm starting to get nervous about my "Team"

Some of you may have seen my post about doing the Breast Cancer 3-Day walk in October. I've been trying to keep to my normal schedule of walking 2-3 miles every day (I've done that for eons). I'll start the "real" training in May - after tax season is over with. I asked a few people to join me and be on my team for the walk (Team Plazio) and quite a few have agreed. Monday night is a Get Started meeting and I was hoping to meet most of my new teammates there. I just checked the website and found that the meeting is at capacity - I hope that's because all my team has signed up already. I sent out an e-mail to everyone letting them know that it's too late to sign up, but if they're already on for that night I told them what I'll be wearing so they can find me easily. Although I'm really exicted about all this, I'm a bit nervous about meeting new people and trying to organize them. Wish me luck!!!!

That is awesome that you are organizing a team for the b r e a s t cancer walk. Also that you walk 2-3 miles a day, that is a great stress reliever in itself especially for you during this tax season time. I'm sure you will do great getting everyone organized for the walk.

I have been wanting to do this for years and finally just said it's time. I'm looking forward to it - even though right now my entire team is strangers.

I can understand your nervousness about organizing new people. Try not to take on too much stress about it and good luck with the Walk.

Thank you. I can't wait to meet some of the people who I'll be walking with!
