Landscaping my Central Florida Yard Continued

Here is the pic of the dirt garden that I need to landscape. I need low maintenance plants. I will lay cedar mulch. It gets eastern morning filtered sun. It is close to the house, so I don't need anything that will mess up the sidewalk or foundation. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. This pic is taken from the north side of the house
