How many of you have your own personal website monetized? I'm not talking about your blogs. I'm talking about having your own personal website, a paid one? How many people have one and do you really need one to make money online?

Yes, I feel having a personal website is important. Affiliate referral sites can only go only take you so far, but having a website indicates a more professional appearance. I have a website and despite the fact that all my referral sites are free, the website is the only thing I pay for on a month-to-month basis. I have several ventures on my site and I do have the ability to add or remove companies from my website. Hope this answers your questions.... have a great day!

i think in theory you could make decent money if you had tons of free blogger blogs that were automated. however it certainly is a big plus to have your own site. i own a couple sites, while they don't always make a ton of money, they always at least pay for themselves. another thing you could to is buy a domain, such as azahari.com33, and then create a blogger blog, and set up domain forwarding so that anyone that goes to azahari33.com is redirected to your blogger blog. that way you come off a bit more professional, but you don't have to worry about monthly hosting costs.

Worring about monthly hosting is why people don't make money. I'm making money. I had the same mindset once up on a time about hosting. People just don't get it.
