I am curious just which is more in number, the writers or the responders? I write about 2-3 discussions everytime i log in on mylot and probably respond to more than five discussions. Just about everytime i check for new discussions, there is always something new every few seconds and i wonder if there are more writers than reponders on mylot. I would think that there are more responders because i myself respond to more discussions than what i write.

I personally respond to discussions, since not many people share my eccentric tastes in life like mathematics, puzzles, philosophy etc. So I am happy responding than creating new discussions.

since you already know that not many people share your eccentric tastes, you should try a different tactic where you write about things that people can relate to you in different ways. you have to keep writing discussions or else you don't make money as much as you would supposed to make.

i think the responders same number with the writers, because everybody can be a responder and writer, let say me. I also respond other people discussion and write own discussions.

Well, I for one, know I answer way more discussions a day than start New discussions on here. I know you can earn $$ from doing both, but for me, it is a lot easier to post to discussions more as I find I would run out of ideas when I try starting a lot of discussions. But since I have been a member here for almost a yr. and a half, I have started a lot of New discussions on here as well.

I'm like you, I respond to probably ten to twenty times more discussions that I actually start. I seem to sometimes have a hard time finding discussions that I haven't answered, yet. And, it seems like there are a lot of repeated discussions, too. I try to contribute with my own discussions because that's what keeps this site going. But, sometimes I have to take a break so that, when I come back, there's a new batch of discussions that I've never seen.

I think that there are quite a few more responders than writers here on myLot. I don't recall seeing very many posts that have no responders. I myself have responded to many posts, but I've never started any because my schedule doesn't allow the necessary time to respond to the responders and keep the discussion lively. I thank you for starting so many discussions that might be of interest to others.

all are welcome here. myLot will thank for what you have written, or for your responses.myLot will never treat us differently. All have the same rights here. Writers are welcome so are responders. Let's make this site more dynamic and colorful.

Nevertheless, we should admit, that to start a new dscussion is more diffifult than to post a respons. You are demanded to think harder, to select the right theme, and be keep in line with the issue. Therefore it is no wonder, if there are more responders here, than writers. But I am not sure if admin pays more bucks for writer, and less buck for responders.....

i probably respond to more if i read something i can relate with or if i can try to help someone move on and fix their problem that they are having... i think i wrote one to promote my novel i self-published and someone told me i am not allowed to put links on here...
