Selling your home now? What do you need to do?

My to-do list to sell my home is growing by the second...painting, clearing the clutter (inside AND out), finish my to-do list of in-home projects. I've found my dream home--now I've got to move if I want it! It also means selling some furniture (I've been forced to look at MUCH smaller homes so that I can stay in the region). Does staging your home work? Any other tips for me?

Staging your home does make a difference, oddly enough even clearing out the storage ares such as garage, attic, crawl space and basement can make a difference, basically make your home nice enough that you don't want to move and then you can sell it. And for the least expensive idea, just clean it up, and clear it out, open areas are better than bad staging because it creates the idea of clean space and lets people do what they want with the space, rather than something cluttered, which is a big turn off. On a much less practical note .... Also if you are looking for a quick sell and have some faith in superstitions, which oddly enough this one I have personally known to work at least 3 times maybe something you would consider. You may want to check out St. Joseph's kit, it is for selling the home, yes it is a superstition, the funniest thing happend a few months ago, I was raised catholic so I knew who St. Joseph was my friend was not, so he asked me if I knew who he was and I said yes. He said have you ever heard of St. Joseph for moving, I just smiled, and asked what happened, he said one of the guys he works with was trying for the past year to sell his property and couldn't. This guy was told about St. Joseph helping people sell their homes then went on to say "but I'm Jewish" the person that told him about it said "so is St. Joseph" Well the guy did try he figured after more than a year what had he to lose, then was shocked when he sold his house ten days after trying it. Good luck with the sale of the house.

I've been hearing about St. Joseph for years...since the last President Bush was in office. I'll have to consider a St. Joseph kit--I know I need all the help I can get!
