I agree with kriztin08. if your friend tells their story to you, it means you are important. They trust you... and I dont like to ruin my relationship with them just because I'm bored. Of course sometimes they make me feel down. I read in one book that you ought to not let anybody make you feel down... I think they just need us to accompany them through their problems...

well, most of my friends go to me when they have problem because i listen to them.. sometimes it's annoying when they tell u same issues as they tell u before.. especially when it comes to love.. but since they are your friend u have to understand.. just listen to them and give advice.. u know when they go to you and tell problem it means that u are a good friend and they trust u a lot.. it's a good feeling..

Well, you could say 'No, don't talk to me', but I don't think they would be your friends for very much longer. ^^; Usually if things are getting too heavy for me and I can't take listening to their situation or if I'm having a tough time, I'll just say 'I'm really sorry that you're going through that right now, but I'm not in a position where I can be helpful. I'm going through some things right now, and as much as I would like to help you, before I can, I have to be able to help me, first.' Generally that doesn't cause too much of an uprising. Best of luck dealing. :D You should feel touched that they trust you enough to share everything with you. ^^
