I am living in Beijing now, and I heard that there will lots people around the world will come to beijing for the olympic. However I am doubt that, you know, you can watch all the match from TV, internet, or cell phone. If you will come for travel, then it's expensive every where during the Game.I don't see any reason to come here. So, will you come to Beijing, and why?

No way. Even if i could afford it. After all the crap china has put in our food sources and toys - I wouldn't want to go there and support the country financially at all.

If i have enough money and capablity, i would go to london and see the broadcast. I believe it's must a wonderful experience. Becouae i'm a chinese student and majored in english. If i have the chance to go to london, i not only have a cultural tour in london, also practice my english. What's more, i really love london and it interests me a lot.

lihongzhai, how do u do, guy? Hopely everything is ok. I am not sure if you are trying to suggest people not to come to Beijing for Olympic. You should be proud your country become the host of this great event in sport history. Not every country is able to be the host of Olympic, because there are many conditions that should be fulfilled, among others are financial ability, sufficient infrastructures, security alertness, and many more.As part of China community, you are obliged to make real contribution so this big event could perform well. You are right that we are able to watch Olympic thru television, internet and other means. But nevertheless, those who wish to richen their spirit, to strengthen their commitment and to experience direct atmosfhere during their stay in Beijing and other cities, then come to Beijing for Olympics is a must, or they will feel sorry for not coming here. Most people agree that Olympics is not solely deal with sport activities. Olympics also talks about equality, fraternity, humanity, and peace. Politics can not be played here, there is no room for this for the sake of Olympics spirit.

I am totally agree with you about the sport, and what's you said is great, you must be a member of an olympic org. :) Thank you bonansa, I feel much better now.

There is no way I am going to Beijing. I do not have enough money for one and two, if I did go I would not want to go when it was going to be so crowded. I will however be watching the 2008 olympics from my home. It's cool that your town is hosting though!

Some of my friends from Australia have told me that they would come for the Olympics, and some of my friends from other provinces have asked me to help them book the tickets. So it seems the Beijing Olympics appeals to many people no matter the high ticket prices or crowded people. Actually, I think it's kind of a Chinese specialty that there are really so many people wherever you are. Some friends told me although they had the knowledge of 13 hundred million population of China,it was still shocked them and puzzled them once they reached the mainland. However, they got used to it just in a couple of days, and some of them even enjoied being a member of the crowd eventually. I deeply believe that this city as well as this country really worth visiting!
