I am working for a computer brand for last 2 years. Recently I was planning to upgrade my home pc. I checked with different brands but not even once I considered the brand I work for. This made me wonder if thats just me or there are more people who thinks like me. Would you use or recommend your friend/relative product of the company you work for?

It is my experience that when you work for a company they offer you some discount if you buy their products. So I would buy at a lower price than they usually sell for. I wonder why you did not consider your own company's brand. Do you know something that makes you think other brands are better?

What you said is right. But you see, when you are actually spending money on something big, you would always want to go for the best. For example, If you are working for Ford, and you can afford Ferrari, you would buy Ferrari even if Ford gives you some discount. That is a natural psychology.

I think it is important to be a loyal employee - and part of that is to support the product made by the company you work for - but also important is quality. If the workmanship is shotty - and you know this because you see first hand the type of workmanship that is in the product (perhaps even made in part by yourself) then it would make sense to go elsewhere.

we cant simply buy a product, because we work in that company. if the product is good and best selling, then only we buy that product.
