healthy lunch. I have some errands to run today. So we will have to leave shortly after my daughter comes home from pre-school. My idea is a peanut butter sandwich (no jelly, she doesn't care for it much) some applesauce and carrot sticks.

I think that sounds pretty healthy. For my son it would be PB&J though. If I needed a quick lunch for my son it would be a PB&J, string cheese, raisins or an apple, and a yogurt drink. My daughter would be string cheese, raisins, and apple, and a sippy cup of milk.

I forgot about the string cheese. I don't know if I have anymore in the fridge. Better put that on the grocery list.

I buy the big 24 pack string cheese. Both my kids love it and I eat it sometimes too. I ran out a few days ago. I need to get some more too.

Hello dear ersmommy. You have a nice idea to have a quick and healthy lunch with butter sandwich, but I do not think that I can have a better one. Well, if I need to have a quick and healthy lunch, I would boil or steam ready-made dumplings placed in the fridge as dumplings have been one of my favorite food.

How funny, that sounds exactly like the lunch I make for my husband every day...the fruit changes (canned pineapple, applesauce, apple, orange, banana) but he always has a peanut butter sandwich and carrot sticks. :)
