Just a quick update why I haven't been here

Well the problem is I feel on the ice
and broke my right wrist.
So for a couple of days it just
hurt too much to type.
Then I started running a fever
Due to the way it broke I had
an infection in my bloodstream.
Ok so went on the antibotics...
Had a reaction so I had to stop taking them.
Was supposted to see my doc
tomorrow to RX a different
one but the temp went way up
so I had IV antibotics at the ER.
I am feeling today like I just may survive this!
I do have to tell you I am still a wee bit
discouraged...

Mom no wonder I worry about you! What a lot for you to go through all at once and I thought your Granddaughter was accident prone and now things are becoming all too clear! I am sending you lots of love and hugs and praying that you feel better soon! I think your Grandson is on his way to send you an email - the little madam is already in bed or they would be fighting over who was getting on the computer first! xxxx

Gabs, just e-mail Gissi to her. Of course I have a cat on my lap just now wanting to purr his love to her. He had a rough year one year, fell off the banister on the stairs, and broke his rib. My old Tiger says he hopes you soon are doing better.

Wow, you have had a bunch of problems from what one would think is a simple thing...a broken bone.
You know there was something on House a few weeks ago, where a woman with a broken toe had all kinds of medical problems due to it. It just goes to show that you should take what seems to be a mundane injury seriously.
You take it easy and enjoy the attention you are getting.

hi raydene i am so sorry to hear you broke your wrist and got really ill from it. sometimes people are really allergic to some antibiotics. I had a reaction from one antibiotic so know what that feels like. I am glad that they helped you at the er. i will bet you are a bit discouraged. it was bad enough breaking your wrist without getting an infection on top of it . must have picked up something when you fell. well anyway hope you are feeling better soon. take care.

I hope you are doing better!! Who would think that falling could cause so many problems!! I mean with infections and things. I will be looking forward to you getting back and posting when you are up to it.

Oh my... I'm really sorry to hear that, Raydene. It sounds really painful and I hope you feel better soon. Best try not to type too much, methinks, until things calm down a bit.

Oh my!
I guess it cramped your Easter Egg hunting yesterday.
Hope your wrist heals quickly and doesn't give you too much pain. Did they put a hard cast on it? A girl down the street broke her arm last year and had to have a metal rod device inserted, with wires and pins on the outside, until it healed.

I hope that you are truly feeling much better by now, raydene. Sometimes what starts out as a seemingly minor problem will escalate out of proportion. I will be sending healing thoughts your way.

Sorry to hear you have had such a bad time of it, I have never snapped my wrist, but I have fractured it and that hurt enough. So I can only imagine what sort of pain you are in, and then an infection on top you must have felt rotten. I am allergic to penicillin. I really hope you start to feel better soon and that your wrist heals up really fast.

Wow when it rains it pours. You should have gone to the emergency right away. I know, I broke my left wrist and they had me in splinters and a cast for almost a month. I still can't write that much without it hurting and that was years ago, but your picture looks much younger than me so you should be getting better in no time. Just be careful and don't strain yourself.

I do hope that you are feeling 'up to par' soon. I know what a drag it is to feel rotten. I am glad that they finally found the right antibiotics for you. I hate allegeric reactions. It will be all set to right soon. Take the time and rest. LOL

Hi raydene I'm new on the site. Sorry to hear of your woes. I can definitely sympathize with you. The winters up here are really tough on a person. cold, cold, cold. I guess being in New York you get a lot of ice sitting around that 32 f. Good luck with your healing.
