i just realize it when i see the points in my star ranking. i am glad that my star rating still on 9 rank but the points getting drop. it was 94/100 but at now it is going to 93/100. i don't know whats goin on by this one, since i try not to offense anyone in here.
my points in my star ranking getting decreased after i post topic about USA president candidat. the link of my discussion is here http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1444978.aspx i know it just my subjective opinion but after posting those discussion and reply some comment which dropping in my discussion i noticed about the decreasing of my rating star points
well, i just want to apologize if by posting those discussion, i already offense anyone in here cause i really don't have any intention to irritate anyone in here

You might have offended someone here in political issue here or there might be some spammer around giving people negative rating yea , hope you can up your stars yea

Dear! Why do you worry so much about star rating. I think it does not effect your earnings in any manner. Just relax, and keep on posting your logical replies and discussions. Participation in the discussions and sharing your views are more important that Star ratings. Enjoy the discussions with your friends and forget about ratings. The calculation method of star ratings is very complex and is not exactly known, how these are calculated, and it is not in your control, so do not worry about it.

I don't even look at my star rating...i'd be the same as you. I feel so bad if I feel that I've offended anyone...usually anyway. some people are just hyper sensitive. The rating system means nothing really. speak your mind and as long as y ou are respectful which you seem to be, I wouldn't worry about it.

trully i also not concerning much about star ranking, but feel little bit when someone rate me negative cause of my different opinion although i submit it in good way

ya...i know what you mean. I am dealing with a similar situation but for different reasons. I try to answer honest and what I truly feel and be polite and kind. I always am a bit taken aback when I realize i've in some way offended someone with no intent at all.

I think there may have been some -ve ranking.
Also i am not sure if it is only the case. something similar happened to me. i asked the same question at Mylot. somebody told me that it may be no one is rating me at all. so my average rating is decreasing.try to add comments and then may be some rate you +. i have alreay rated you +.

When doing a discussion we should always do it fairly. We should even out our thoughts not putting others down on it. People have the right to speak their heart out but we should not be rude when people are responding against what you wanted to hear from them.

I'm sorry your points went down. I hope they will come back up soon. I know you would never intend to offend anyone here. I enjoy your discussions. I hope you didn't lose points because of negative ratings from your discussions. You have the right to voice your opinion. We all do and should not have to pay for it by losing points, discussions or earnings. I wish you well my friend.

and I guess if you give negative rating to other people, your star ranking will also go down. I've done it quite a lot, but I don't regret it, because they deserve a negative rating.

I am sorry that you are dropping points on your rating, but it is nothing. The whole point of a place like this is to be able to air your views and if we cannot do that what is the point. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the discussion you were talking about and I doubt it is down to offending anyone it is probably just someone being daft about it and taking it the wrong way. I never pay any attention to that little star, I stopped being excited about stars when I left school!!

well, i also not takewhole attention about my star rating but its just suddenly notice by me in here and by this case i know that not all of people appreciate of different opinion. they don't want any opinion which opposite with their opinion althoug it told in manner ways. thats really sad thing, right?

People here will rate you negative for various reasons, they could disagree with your post or they could rate you negative for not having the same opinion as you. I was under the impression that debates were welcome here but if you debate against someones topic they will rate you negative, some people will even find every post you made just to give you a negative rating. Do not take it to heart.

Don't worry too much about it. You have so many posts anyway that it will take longer for your rating to go down. Mine can go down anytime!
Some people are just nasty and like to bring others down and hit the (-) for whatever. I hit the (+) button 99% of the time. If someone says something I don't like, unless it's very extreme and warrants a negative rating, I usually just skip over it.
I am sure everyone offends others on here from time to time, but if you maintain a good rating as you have, I am sure it will go up again in no time. I just gave you some (+)'s!
