Other than to try and avoid them - what do m ost of you use for those massive migraines (4 children who like to bicker - making it worse. ) hubb just picked up panadol for me - as Boohoo, the nice big jar of 500 ibuprofens we got in Walmart 2 years ago, expired in December. (yes - I have taken some though they are expired). Another reason to get some money together to stock up on them again! Seriously, though waht do you find works the best when those headbangers occur?

I don't get them too often but when I do I get major migrains. I don't just get a little headache but a huge one where I have to lock myself from the world be in complete darkness, no lights, no sound type. I have tried everything that you could imagine out there on the market and nothing has worked. The only thing I have found helped me was pot. Yes pot. My doctor even told me to smoke pot when I get the migrains so it's not just cause I get to smoke pot my doctor tells me as well.

Migraines are NO FUN at all. I have had to suffer with them from time to time for quite a few yrs. now. Sometimes they are definately worse than others. I know for example I had one yesterday and a lot of them make me nauseous as well. There are many things a person can do for them. Some of these could be an Experiment and only you can know what works Best for you. I know I have tried many things to where some definately work better than others. There are natural items you can try that helps or you can get Meds from your Pharmacy that are Doctor prescribed as well. It is all what works best for you. Some of the things I have tried are: Feverfew, Xango for offcounter Herbal remedies, and then also things from the Doctor where some definately helped more than others. Now for me, I usually really on the Xango though overall and get the Best results from.

I have struggled with migranes for as long as I can remember. I get them 2-3 times a week. Some last a few hours and others last for days. They get so bad That I cry. I get light and noise sensitivity. I also only get them behind my left eye. Never anywhere else. I use a warm cloth or a cold cloth over my eye and sit in the dark and quiet. We have had all kinds of tests done but nothing was found. I have tried tylonol, asprin, ibprofin...ect. Nothing works. Well one day my dad gave me one of his pain pills a perceset. That did it. I took it an the migrane was gone! Now if I could only convince my doctor to prescribe it for me. It all that works but its not for headaches. So what.... if it works then it works right??
