I'm so pleased to tell you that i have received a refund in full from the company I was dealing with. I even made 46 cents on the conversion rate! If anyone is interested in a pet food supplement to get rid of fleas, PM me and I will give you the address of this very reputable company. I was a bit upset and consequently abrupt with them and they were friendly, understanding, courteous, helpful and professional. I'm really impressed. I'm trying to think of a time when I have been treated so well by a company I had dealings with with things went wrong. Has anything like this ever happened to you. Share your good fortune with us. Perhaps you lost something and it was returned to you when you thought it never would be?

It is illegal to bring any organic matter; food, plants, seeds, furnituire, etc, into this country without a permit. Customs checks everything. Now that I've been caught once, the system will probably send up a flag if I do it again. I wouldn't do it again anyway because I don't want to buy the permit. I don't want to bring things into this country illegally. These sort of organic products may have the potential to harm our own natural system by introducing harmful substances. It's happened before. There is an address in Australia, where I live, where I can obtain this product.

I'm pretty happy about it too. To be without the product and the money was upsetting me in big lumps.

So glad to hear you got a refund but the question is did you ever get rid of the fleas. Is this company not allowed to sell their product in your country?

I am very lucky as I only have to treat my dogs ONE time with Frontline and I do not see another flea for the rest of the year. So it is nor so expensive for me. We have a real bad time here with sand fleas.

The fleas are practically gone but the little dog, Blinky, is still scratching. She gets to socialise with other dogs a lot and so picks up their fleas. I'm using Frontline at the moment but it's only good for the dogs. With the product I was buying I could put it in their drinking water which both dogs use and the cat and the goats. The cat has a flea collar but the goats have no protection. I find the frontline isn't effective for long enough to break the flea cycle and it's expensive as well. They don't care about the fleas, but having our money is good. There is a guy who imports the product into Australia and I have his address now. He didn't show up on the web when I searched for "natural flea control". His site does a lot of things and concentrates on general health and well being for all...animals and people.

I'm so pleased that you finally got your refund MsTickle, although I had my doubts! I am interested in the pet food supplement to get rid of fleas, as I have two dogs of my own. Please pm me with the address, price, etc.

Thanks abbey dear. The address is: http://happyhealthypetnetstore.com and the product is "Flea Free". You can get all the details my visiting the site. It's a natural product with no chemicals and you add it to your pets food. Good luck with it. You'll be coming into flea season yourselves soon.

Thanks for the site MsTickle - I'll have a look at it today. Yes, I give my dogs flea treatment every month up here in Queensland, even in our "winter", so with 2 dogs to treat, it works out quite expensive over the year. I would also prefer not to put those chemicals into their bodies if I can help it. Thanks again for the site.

Hi Abbey...I didn't realise you are Australian....here is the Aussie link: http://www.drgood.com.au/zencart/. I'm having a bit of trouble logging on to the site at the moment so let me know if you have any problems contacting them. It's a great price, $20 for 500 ml and you add a teaspoon to their meal (each) daily.....here's a link to the product: http://www.drgood.com.au/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6

That is great you got your refund. Just be careful next time and do the research first of what can and can't come into the country. I find the little businesses work much harder to help you out and prefer to shop for big ticket items like fridges etc with them because they really value the fact that you have taken the time to find them and buy their goods.

Yes, I will be sure to be more careful in future. It was a learning curve, that's for sure. It was such a time waste and caused a farr bit of anxiety as well.

I thought there was a possibility they would refund the money for the product but not the postage but they sent the lot. I just couldn't afford to spend that money and have nothing to show for it. I'm really impressed with these people.

I am so happy you got your money back! I had something "good" happen to me but it was nothing like this. I ordered a new desktop computer from Dell. I only got one box. So before I ever opened it I called Dell to tell them I didn't get my monitor since the sticker on the outside of the box said box 2 of 2. Where was box 1? Where was my monitor? The rep at Dell sent me a new monitor free of charge and a $100 coupon off my new order from Dell over $500. How surprised do you think I was when I finally opened box 2 of 2 when my new monitor came and found that box 1 of 2 was inside of it with my monitor in it?!?! I called Dell feeling like an idiot but they let me keep the 2nd monitor free of charge. The rep actually told me it was more expensive for them to pay me to ship it back to them. Keep that in mind next time someone wants to charge you $100 for a 17" LCD monitor. lol
