What gift do you like to give or receive? / myLot

I like flowers, roses and small soft toys, I received a bunch of roses from my close friend. their was no special ocassion, but she still gave me it may because i was sad. After receiving roses i felt so nice and i became happy. I feel everyone will like to receive roses. I want to know that whenever you give gift to someone do you think about her/his likes and dislikes? OR you give what you like? I want to gift her somthing what should i gift? LIFE IS TO SHORT, LIVE AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE

i think books are a good gift to give. they show a lot about the giver and receiver. you should never give what you particularly like only because that person may not like it. unless the gift is useful

Yes i think i should give a book, but she dont like reading, she like new trendy things, like latest mobile, still confused what to give.
