The Sound of a Heart Breaking I’m drowning in my sorrows. I have buckets full of tears. I can’t think about tomorrow. Too busy thinking about lost years. I’m lost in morbid thinking. I have letters full of lies. My heart it keeps on sinking. She is skilled at breaking ties. Don’t you hate… Don’t you hate… Don’t you hate… When it happens to you? Don’t you hate it when you are treated like a fool? Feeling like hope ran far away. Despondency is bulleting straight our way. A manic song in our mind often plays. They pound on your soul, as if you were made of clay. Don’t turn now because friends can stab backs. Friends who turn on you and viciously attack. You act fair… while on you garbage is stacked. You are always blamed and always trapped. Don’t you hate… Don’t you hate… Don’t you hate… When it happens to you? Don’t you hate it when you are treated like a fool? Looking straight at me like love was found. Lies straight from the eyes…. Life is sometimes round. In vicious cycles… beating you down on the ground. When a heart breaks does it make a sound? Because mine must be an amplified sound of an emotional break. I starve myself of feelings so that I can last a bit longer… for my own sake. This song is all over the place because pain it disrupts our minds… Dealing with our deficiencies can be such a stinkin grind. Don’t you hate… Don’t you hate… Don’t you hate… When the pain hits you? Don’t you wish you could give pain the same way too?
