Do you watch health programs on TV? Do you have an all health channel? Would you want to have a public tv all health channel? Apparently many americans are asking for this very thing, what about you?

I do watch health programs on TV occasionally. There is no one channel dedicated to it but a 30 min slot every week is enough to attract me to watch it. If it is a dedicated channel, I may just skip it. Too much of everything bores me.

here in australia,we have a show called RPA,its about one of our hospitals and what goes on there with a few patients and there operations.you usually see what happens to them from when they first present to hospital,to their discharge.a lady i knew was on it once when she had to have a total knee replacement, well it was so interesting to watch the operation and her recovery.i think a health chanel would be interesting.cheers sue

I have and do in occasion. My husband don't like them though. I used to watch them everyday but now have different cable company now and so I can't find allmy old favorites. There are some of the new ones that are okay but not as good as the ones I used to watch.

I used to when we had cable television channels. We just have basic channels now and I hardly ever see those types of shows anymore. I wish we could afford to have cable again sometime but I do not watch very much television anymore. I think those types of channels are very educational though.

I am not much of a television watcher, but I would definitely vote for something like this. It sounds like a real good idea.

When I run across a health program on TV I generally watch it if the subject is interesting or pertains to a condition I have. I'd vote for a health channel.

I might watch it, just for general interest. I watch the Weather Channel a lot. I can see where it might be a way to help the public be better informed.

Im not too sure about this idea Rose...the trouble with having a health channel is that oyou may end up with a nation of people who have every ailment under the sun!! its thre same if you feel unwell and you look on the internet..you think you have the symptoms for everything!!! Maybe its best to go to the doctors to sort it all out!!!
