When you are on the internet do you notice the time? Have you ever thought OMG have I really been on here that long? I have found that I often sit down thinking I am going to take a few minutes to check on things and hours later I am peeling myself away from the computer. Am I the only one??

No you are not the only one, I do it every single day. I am sure the time goes double quick when on the computer because it never goes that fast any other time!! I am sitting here now and it has flown and I shall have to go to bed soon, but I am nowhere near finished with what I wanted to do!!

I feel so much better now that I know its not just me because my husband always makes me feel like I am abnormal when I spend hours doing the same thing online.

No, you are not the only one, it is happening to always on daily basis. I am going just to check my emails and somehow one hour later or even longer i realize, oh it has been already an hour. It is really easy to loose track of time if you doing something that you are interested in or you enjoy. So good luck with time tracking.

Lawd no you are not alone in this one!!! There were many times where I said I was only going to check one thing, maybe in my e-mail, then that leads to something else I see or that needs to be done, and then I see something that interests me. Before I know it, I've been on the computer for three hours when I was only supposed to be there for 15 minutes!!! I have curbed that a lot though. I am working at home two days out of the week, and then I go to school for the other three. When I am at home, I have housework to do on top of the internet work. So even when I come here, I limit myself to a certain amount of time on the computer, so I can finish the housework as well before my grandmother gets home from work. But I can't say that I have never went over that time either, MyLot just gets too interesting at times lol.

I always try to make myself complete everything else first before I get online or else the other things just won't get done.

no, you are not the only one. at least, you can add me to the counter. hehehe. I always found myself in that situation. like today, I've been spending on myLot for around more than two hours and I have not even noticed it until I read your discussion and suddenly realized to check my computer clock. wow. 2 hours just passed very quickly by posting on myLot. :P it seems like time has passed more quickly nowadays. or the computer or internet thingy just get us forgetting about time? LOL.

No you are definitely not the only one. I do it all the time. I get on and think ok I will go on the computer for a hour or so and I look over at the clock & I have been for hours and hours. It happens all the time to me.

I lose track of time alot...mostly if i'm reading a book or using the computer. Especially if i'm playing a game. I know a few other people who get into a game or a book and finish where ever they are and go omg its 2 am i should have been in bed 4 hours ago.

Oh I am that way with games too. I just play and don't pay attention until I am horribly tired the next day.

Join the club!!! I find myself getting on the computer of an evening and going to bed just before the sun rises from time to time!!! I never seem to be able to keep track of time when I'm on the computer, especially the internet. It's like I'm in a time warp! lol

No, you are not the only one! I lose track of time on here also, time just seems to whiz on by when I'm on here , I get really concentrated when get started! But most of the time, I can stop, and go do something "important", and then come right back to where I left off!

I sometimes loose track of time when i have nothing else to do. I'm really bad on the computer when it comes to watching how long I stay on.

this happens to me a lot, i think i am not taking very long to do something and then next thing i know an hour or 2 hours has passed. i don't get too much time to work interrupted online though, so it can be a matter of just being interupted every 10 minutes that makes me think i am being faster than i thought.

Hey there is no way you are the only one it happens to me all the time and then my husband will say what have you been doing on there and I say not a lot really and its true because I never get everything done I need to and time does just fly. I meean take now for example I came on here just before 2 to check my emails and 1 other thing so far I checked about 2 emails and thats it mainly because I've been replying to Mylot but thats neither here or there. What I'm getting at is I lose loads of time when I'm on the net and give it another 20 mins I'll still be on here and then start to panic because I've gota get my son from school and will be racing round like a loony!!

Time sure flies when I am watching tv or on the computer. But time felt like it is on a spin cycle set too high these days as if Earth is revolving a tad too fast. Even while working you ask? Yes, even when I am at work.
