It depends on what the definition of the word does is. Yeah, it makes a sound. Take it to the bank. It makes a sound. You don't think all the other trees are standing there saying "You idiot!! There's nobody here, why'd you make that noise when you fell??"

yes it still makes a sound just no one is there to hear it....u dont have to have evidence that a tree falling makes a sound its obvious

yes because all sound is virbrations. so even if no one heard it the sound waves still were there.

Of course it does. Trees always make a sound when they fall. The question is, how do u know a tree fell if it didn't make a sound?

If you are there you will hear it. If you are not there or close by you will not hear it. Now it depends on the size of the tree also..the small the tree no noise or a soft one it could make. But much larger trees will have a greater noise level.
