I am unemployed again. I fried the boss. why the bosses i met finally turned out to be interested in me. How bad! I am unemployed. where am i going? I have to seek another postion. I hate to find a job. because there is nothing work i'd like to do. In other word, i don't have any target in my career. I just like enjoying life, beautiful flower, singing birds, swimming fish, barking dogs, lovely cat and little babies. It is so hard for me to build a great life target because i am not ambitious. what is the most thing i want to do in my life? i said no. I even don't know what i should take as my caree? I like literature most, but i don't want to be scholar or teacher, or writer,or journalist. So lazy to be anyone.

I am sorry you were fired. :( Perhaps you could start your own business and be your own boss? You mentioned that you like dogs? How about starting a pet-sitting business? (Or dog grooming, dog walking, etc.) It might be profitable, especially during vacation seasons. It might help to get some counseling too. Your local workforce/unemployment center might be able to help you? Or you can find low cost or free counseling through a church, or social service agency. You might call 211 (like 911 but with a 2) if its in your area, or call your local united way. Hope this helps a little! :)

I am sorry to hear that. It's true that finding a good job isn't easy. But there is no way. We have to make a living, so we have to do something we don't want. I hope you will have good luck to find a good job soon.

hi violetroom. sorry to hear that situation. but I think you can still get a life after then, perhaps this is just a transition for better employment in the future. about your career, I guess you had better start from what you love to do first, maybe there is something in literature that can offer you a career in the future, why not? or if you also love to interact with international people, for example, like promoting the literature of your own country for the tourist? there are still a lot of possibilities for career that are related with your current interest. some ladies in other countries (and here in my country) who have special interest in flowers, they also make the earning from these. I have a former classmate who open her own florist and bakery. to tell you the truth, she studied computer science back then and later she just gave up her last job in a famous company and started to improve herself in her hobbies (cooking and arranging beautiful flowers). so I believe you can also start by exploring your own hobbies and interests, we can never know the future that awaits us. so I believe your current situation is just a transition and this is a chance to explore your potential abilities. hopefully you will find out soon. good luck.

Sorry to hear that. Well, I guess you haven't found your ground yet. Personally , I do not call this laziness but you are just in the stage of exploring yourself, trying out things. I also once felt this way, after I graduating from college, I don't what to do. I want to find a job because I thought, that is what normal graduate should do. What happened is , I also jumped from one job to another, as I get bored with the job or lose interest in it. I decided to take off from working for about a year. During that I was able to do other things, like help my sister in her studies, contribute in our home business. Finally, I found out that I have a knack in computers. That is why the job that I have after are related to computers. Do not despair, each of us has its own capability. It is good that you enjoy your life now. The experiences that you have in life will eventually lead you to where you suppossed to go.

Hi, I didnt get whether u were fired or your boss is fired. . Well sometimes life dont go as we plan our life. I like to do a lot of things but iam unable to do becoz of social obligations. We are humans and humans are social animal. So to live a social life we get many benefits and we have to make many sacrifices as well. Dont get disheartened. Balance your life. Consult with a career management and ask yourself what u want to achieve in life. Is it peace or its prosperity? I hope your life settles soon. Cheers, Tutul

I think what you really need is a plan. No one plans to fail and those who fail are the ones that fail to plan. It is through this that one is able to have an objective and a direction to head. It seems like you are in a depressed mood, just have a break and come back to it (look for another job) later. You have left your job because of principle and integrity so be proud of your resolve and stance. For through this will come a tried and tested character, and it is through experience that one learns and progress. So don't be disheartened by this short and brief setback for it will prepare you for the much longer road ahead. Take a short break and relax yourself. Once you have refreshed yourself I am sure you will be able to find another job in no time. Take care.

violetroom you need to take a job survey test to find out'what you are suited for. most state employment agencies do give these tests. You would then know where your talents lie and could either get a job using these skills or'take some courses to help you learn your job skills. You need to work and how are you going to enjoy life without a paycheck? You need to motivate yourself and find somehting that you enjoy doing.Lazyness doesnt cut it.you can work and still enjoy life as you will not be having to wonder how you can pay your bills.

You are unfortunate to be in such a position. I know how it feels. I never had a definite ambition, except I always liked to write. I am trying hard now to make money from my writing, and I am getting paid for writing articles and reviews. I share your interest and enjoyment in nature and in life. These are the most important things but unfortunately we all have to earn money to live on. I hope you can find a job which interests you. If you like literature have you thought of working in a book store? I previously worked in publishing and the book trade and I did well in those jobs.

I once dreamed of opening a book store like Kathleen, the heroine in the movie "You've got mail", but without enough money, i can not do this. So i have to earn money first.

You 'fried' the boss? What, in a deep fat fryer, or a chip pan? Wow! It's no wonder they let you go. Wish I could do that to mine but he's a bit buly to fit on the stove....

If you're able to take some classes somewhere, that could help you find out what you want to do. Maybe see if a community college nearby has noncredit courses in something interesting, that way it's not a long term commitment and at the end you have learned something new and can either pursue it or cross it off your list. You like flowers, maybe take a decorating course, like for a flower shop. Or take some music lessons. Someone mentioned starting a business in dogwalking, not a bad idea! You'd be free to go where ever with the dogs.
