Do you hate clingy people?

I have had some clingy ex-girlfriends before and they really get on my nerves, LOL. I think that couples, friends, family members and cousins even should have some kind of "space" to rest and relax the mind. You can't just put two and two together and expecting them to last a lifetime.
People keep changing their hearts, opinions, thinking and priorities. So, it's best not to be clingy and to encourage others to become clingy to us.
Good discussion here. It sure has opened up my portal of thoughts on this matter.

Don't worry, my friend. I know what you mean totally when you said that. Personally, I think that is very fine as long as both parties are willing to be the clinger and the clingy, LOL. Don't know what I mean with those words, but I know you understand, ha!

I'm glad that it's made you start to think on the subject. I agree that being clingy doesn't allow people to grow, but in some cases people need others to be clingy. I know that might be hard to explain, i'm not sure how to.
I don't mind that my fiance is clingy towards me as I feel comforted by the fact that he needs me, I suppose that would be an example of what I mean.
When it comes to relations outside of a lover status, I do agree that people need to be away from friends and from family.

I would never be able to stand my husband being clingy! No way! My husband has never been a clingy person. I dont think I could last. He has always let me have my space. But over all I cant stand anybody no matter who it is to be clingy. It is very annoying.

It can be very annoying, I do admit. At first it was annoying for my fiance to be clingy but now I do enjoy it. I find it precious that he is and very cute as well. I am glad that your husband is not clingy.

Yes,I would have to say clingy people get on my nerves.its like yes I like you or love which ever it may be.I love spending time with people,but I need my space from them also.I just think clingy people are that way because they are not sure to show they love you,with out beng all over you all the time.

It is true that most of them are unaware of how to show love without being around you 24/7. I find it cute though!
