Are you close to your family?

My family has never been terribly close, but very loyal. I have 4 sisters and we all just keep to our own lives, really. Now my household is very close. My daughter calls from Oregon and talks with my sons on the phone, as well as me and my husband. She is the only one who has left the nest so far. We are closer than my mom & dads family.
