My 14 month old daughter has been showing an interest in using the potty for about 6 months now. It is on and off, but she has seemed interested. She has used it at least 50 times so far. Poo only once though. Today I decided to put her in a Pull-up. I told her that it was big girl underwear and that she needed to tell me if she needed to go potty. I brought her in once and she went. A little bit later she walks over and bangs on the bathroom door, so I take her in and sure enough she goes again. Just before bed I put her on the potty again and she goes. She is in bed for about 15 minutes and then she just starts screaming. I give her a few minutes...still screaming. I go in talk to her and then leave the room hoping she will calm down. About 15 minutes later she is still carrying on. I go back in and she stinks. She was trying to tell me that she needed to go poop and I was not listening to her. Poor thing. I changed her and laid her back down and she went right to sleep. The poor thing was trying to tell me. Do you ever not pay attention when your kids are trying to communicate something to you?

Nope I got the message loud and clear one day. I laid my not yet 18 month old daughter down to change her.She yelled "NO DIAPEY". And kicked. WHICH landed right above my chin and loosened some teeth. Sent me to the dentist, and her directly into pull ups.

Well, now she has used the potty chair 7 times since 4pm yesterday. She did wet her pull up a little bit earlier. It was shortly after she used the potty, so she must have not been finished when she got up.

Oh thats awesome! My youngest daughter is 20 months and I didn't even think to start potty training her because my other daughter, 3 1/2 didnt potty train until 2 1/2. I guess she's been doing alot of observing and I know they say the youngest learns to speak from the siblings but it still too me by suprise when she started trying to undress over her little potty whenever I went to the bathroom. I have let them follow me to the bathroom since they were younger and wondered if that would speed things up with my youngest and I guess she's learning because my 3 year old still needs me to wipe her because she doesnt do that good a job when she does the number 2.

She has backslid a little bit in the potty department, but that was to be expected. She is only 15 months old after all.
