This morning around 7 am i was woken up by my son saying "Mom we have kittens"! I thought to myself it's April 1st he's good... LOL I am like ok that's nice and fall back to sleep.. Every few minutes I wake up and he's either going up stairs or down the stairs.. I thought to myself well maybe he isn't joking... My husband that is up and all ready for work says yes Shadow had kittens some are down here and some are up stairs.. So I get up to go upstairs to use the bathroom and I hear kittens meowing... I thought oh no she did have them.. We do have a male Cat running around and he knocked up all 3 of our cats... I don't know how to catch this Cat (the male) to get him in Cat jail... I know it sounds mean but I can't be having all these cats all over the place.. I am going to have to give these ones away yet again to people that are going to want them... I am hoping they take them all.. I did get lucky last year.. Any idea's on how to catch a cat a male one that has never been fixed? If so please let me know!

I'm sorry but I don't understand and I have to ask: if you don't want your cats having kittens, why haven't you gotten them fixed?

Well it's just the fact that people enjoy dropping cats they no longer want off in the country, which is a real shame... Instead of taking them to a place where someone can give them a good home.. It's really not my cats fault or mine cause they keep having kittens.. But I do tend to get them fixed and some how get the male cat and take him to cat jail than that way no only us but our neighbors don't have any worries either.. They also have cats. Thanks for your reply!

I've never had a cat but I just dropped in to give you support. That male cat sure if a player. He sure likes the ladies. I wish you all the luck with catching him and taking him to cat jail so he can learn his lesson that he shouldn't be knocking up other cats. Good luck.

Oh I know, What really gets me is that people don't want these animals so they just drop them off anywhere, mainly when they aren't even fixed... Sure you know I'd take in another cat if I knew he was fixed or even she.. But just a lonely cat that enjoys making babies and runs when someone is coming just isn't my type of cat... lol Thanks for your reply!

get the whole lot of them fixed - there are too many unwanted kittens in the world Yes, you may find homes for all of yours, but what about when they have kittens? A live trap is good to catch a cat - bait it with tuna fish. You will need to fast him about 12 hours before the appointment - but catch him and spay the girls!

I agree there are alot of unwanted kittens in the world because people don't have the decency to get them fixed they just let them be... (just my oppion) And your right cats have kittens and than they just multiply and soon enough you have over 100 cats every where... I know a lady that did have that many cats actually she lived not far from me before I moved and the pet services actually had to come and catch all these cats because the lady did pass away... Rather they caught them all or not I don't know but when I passed her house you could see there were lesser and lesser cats around... Now When I go past there I don't see any...

Lucky you..No need to catch the male...just spay your female and he will quit coming around..You'll have to wait until she quits nursing, but as soon as she is done..get the vet right away...

I for sure have another cat that is due with kittens... She's huge I mean HUGE lol I didn't think my black cat Shadow was even pregnant because she was tiny than here are the 4 tiny kittens this morning... lol I am for sure going to get these girls fixed.. I have 3 female cats total... So they will be on the way to the Vet as soon as they are done nursing... I can't do with all these cats again! Thanks for your reply!!

It doesn't cost that much to fix the male and then he's not out roaming and knocking up other people's cats. A responsible owner fixs all their cats - I even fix other people's cats when they come to visit too often and I can catch them.

I hope my reply didn't sound harsh..It wasn't meant to be..I understand your worries...I just figure this would be the easiest way to go about it...That way those males won't have any reason to come around..I hate it when people drop off their cats or kitties to fend for themselves..and then there is you...so graciously taking them in...I am so proud of you...

I think its better to have your female cats fixed because, after this male cat is fixed some other may come ! lol and its not so easy to catch the male cat. and by the way, keep the kittens safe.Because,I had a cat{long ago} and it had kittens. But,When she was away, the male{not ours} came and killed all the kittens.I didnot witness it,but thats what we suspect as only a cat can have reached that spot. Hope you can catch that male cat soon ,if possible. Cheers!
