I enjoy cooking and tomorrow am making soup. Its suppose to rain tomorrow. Do you cook more often when it rains than when the sun is out? I find its a great way to relax in the kitchen and enjoy making homemade soup. Do you have a favorite dish to cook on rainy days? Is it a warm dish? Do you just make something quick and play a board game?

I never really thought about this but now you've mentioned it, yes, I do enjoy cooking more on rainy days. I love to make Irish Stew, pies and curries when it's wet outside. When it's a warmer day, I prefer a salad, with cold meat, fish, or prawns. Then strawberries and creme fraiche for desert. I like to eat these outside while I soak up the sun. So yes, rainy days are kitchen and cooking days. Brightest Blessings.

Nope I don’t cook more when it rains. I love homemade soups--- so I make them often. Weather really doesn’t affect what we are making for dinner- If we were planning on grilling out- we just pull the grill into the garage and grill (if it is raining)- I like to watch movies or read on rainy days. So my activity changes- but not the food we make.

I love to make homemade soup also. I am sorry to see winter go, as everything I like to cook is for winter. lol I don't really like to cook when it is hot outside.

I also enjoy cooking & yes, soup is one of my favourites for lunch on rainy days. Today was fairly rainy & very windy. I am cooking chicken with peppercorn sauce, & salad for tea. My favourite homemade sup would be one I make with" red lentils bacon carrots celery onion

My favorite rainy day meal to make is homemade tomatoe soup with a grilled cheese sandwich (put a few slices of fresh tomatoes in between). For some reason I love throwing in a lot of black pepper in the soup. I'm afraid I don't do well in board games though.

I cook more on a rainy days in the fall and winter for sure. I also cook more all winter. So the fact that I gain weight in the winter makes sense I guess. I love to make soups all winter and casseroles. I like chili or soup on a cold rainy day. On a mild rainy day, I'd probably like to order pizza carry out probably because I would be getting a little stir crazy..

I just like cooking period. Doesnt matter what its doing outside. I do know that in the winter I tend to make more soups, chili, maybe cassaroles.. and in the summer we cook on the grill and eat fresh veggies almost every night. When I'm making dinner I am usually mylotting in between checks and mixes.
