Yahoo and Myspace IM spontaneously restart

I need help from a more experienced "geek" or guru than I. Both of these IM's Yahoo 8.1.0.421 (module 8.0.0.1) Myspace IM 1.0.745.0 spontaneously restart themselves. I run Windows Vista on an HP Pavillon Slimline S3223W. I have Hughesnet. There are never any weather issues when this happens, nor do I have any satellite system problems (that I know of anyway) when this happens. This has just started happening within the last week or so. I have run virus scans nothing was found. I had not changed anything in my system before this happened. I am stumped as this has never happened. I am new to Vista, so I don't even know if thats a factor
Please help!!!!

fist off .. vista suxxors LOL
ive had the problem with yahoo as well as the myspace im, and msn messenger as well. uninstalling, deleting the .exe program.. and reinstalloing corrected the problem. just make sure to uninstall before you delete, otherwise itll screw up yer system.

I think the above is the answer too. A pain, but required.
It may be worth checking to see if there is a Vista upgrade for each program. Often many other people will have had the same problem as you and drive Myspace to come up with a fix.
So far, Vista has caused more problems than it has solved and it will take a while before everyone upgrades to new hardware and software produced specifically for Vista and not just an upgrade from XP.
