You're not the only one who does this -- I see it from many people. I prefer to try to use correct grammar, but I do text and type fast, so sometimes I spell incorrectly or forget to correct a typo. On here I type fast and sometimes forget to re-read my responses, thus there are often spelling errors and such, I must confess. I don't think it's a horribly big deal, however. In my opinion, if you can comprehend what the person is intending to say, and it's not filled with every word spelled incorrectly, it should be fine.

I think the SMS has just changed how people spell words and even change their grammar. Try texting with correct spelling and correct grammar. My teacher does that.

I don't text that often, but I type quite regularly. I've got a full keyboard for typing, so I don't feel the need to type short and wuickly, as I would text (or TXT as some people would say). I prefer my keyboard, because I prefer regular typing as opposed to texting.
