I have a kid she is 3 months old we have three tvs in our home the last purchased one is Plasma TV I think no radiation is there but one cann't expect the same plasma tv everywhere. She shouts and yells to watch TV if she is permitted she stops crying The nerve in the eye of the infant is so what so say it's tender so they should not watch. For the sake of her I avoid watching it. In the long run she will learn to switch on the remote also am little bit worried. Can anybody help me out there

Ok, you must have one amazing 3 month old child. I never heard of a 3 month being able to yell to have the TV on. If you wish the child not to watch TV, don't turn it on and put her in front of it. Their is lullaby musical things you can buy, if she is wanting sound to comfort her.

Ok, I need to understand what you are saying. She is crying and fussing until you turn the TV on? Sounds to me like she is needing the lights, and voices to comfort her. Their are numerous infant items you can buy that will achieve the same goal, if you wish her not to watch TV. Try finding one that the lights flash and their is either music or voice to it.

I was told that watching tv can stimulate their senses.......not sure how true that is, but my 5 month old likes to watch tv, but we don't have it on and she doesn't demand it........at least not yet anyway. I say if she's not watching it 24/7 and its in moderation and not bad tv shows then I think its ok. I try to moderate how much my tv is even on. However, I do have a 2 yr old that demands the tv and I just find something else that occupies him. Of course I let him watch some tv, but the only thing he watches is PBS cartoons or DVD's usually Disney. I think it helps stimulate them some especially cartoons, but like I previously said I wouldn't let them watch too much, mine watch just a few hours a day and that's all.

She is 3 months old there is no need for her to watch tv and its not like she is going to argue if you dont turn it on for her. Have some toys infront of her things that move and have music or radio on in the backround but not too noisy.
